So I'm watching "One Life to Live," I admit it - I love soaps - and suddenly, Sonia whips would some Tarot cards and tries to read for Antonio, using some version of the Visconti. And of COURSE, as always happens in TV and movies, the Death card turns up, she says something along the lines of it usually means symbolic death with a new life on the way. (I'm like: OK, that's a start!)
This JUST happened (the late showing on SoapNet) and I was here so I had to share!

Trust a Soap Opera to pull out the most "dramatizing" card possible.
Yeesh, who would have thought that a Soap Opera would use the drama cards.
Oh well I'm off to drool over more cards that I can't afford. :)

yes! If I was trying to scare someone on a soap opera I'd have the actor draw the ten of swords. Scares me enough!

But, Shalott, did you notice that at first Sonia was using the really ornate, larger cards, and then suddenly one day she had switched to a different deck that was more legible on camera? I know she drew the Tower, too...
