So far, the Moon is the nearest guess. :)

It's not the Moon or the Lovers, although it crossed my mind that these lyrics would fit those cards, too. It's not the 2, 3, 6, or 10 of Cups. So far the Moon is the closest guess.

I'm not thinking numbers, nor am I focusing on the actual characters (engaging though they are). It's the point being made in the lyrics that reminds me of this particular card. :)

Good try, but not the 10 of Pentacles. Think of what Joe is saying to the young guy... that's the main thing.

It's not the Sun, but I definitely agree with you about the lyrics. I find the song very moving and it's a definite favorite of mine. "The Moon" still is the nearest guess. BTW, the lyrics don't hold the only clue. Take a peek at the title, too. :)

Yemanja wins -- the High Priestess it is! :D The "Not What You See" refrain made me think of the High Priestess, and how her card reminds us that what's visible on the surface is not the only aspect of a person or situation. There's an unseen side that can be very different from what's easily visible.
