No, sorry.
I would like to say that for me, man = mankind and womankind. I just copied the quote, didn't edit it for political correctness. So, the speaker may be man or not.............

Well, now I've really got trouble... Two cards on my mind, both burning... But for you walking out on political corectness, I will try with the lady first:
Justice?
Acts and their consequences. Seems fitting to me !?

Well,
Judgement
But that's too obvious, isn't it?

Storytelling always makes me think of the Swords courts, so I'll say Knight of Swords--always something important to tell, but very much trying to rush things.

How about the Moon?

Judgement
Knight of Swords
Moon
All I can say is that I read this and thought, "The Wheel of Fortune". I typed it up and was about to post it when I re-read the first line. "I am a man....".
Then I thought about it and thought about it and chose a card. And now the more I think about it, the more I like the card I chose. It is not an obvious voice for this card, but it fits, it really fits.
I can say no more.
I will say no more.

Goodness gracious me. I didn't expect to have to go and search for a Literature clue.
The last time I did one, I got really told off by a member who thought my interpretation of the Maison-Dieu (Tower) truly sucked! - LOL - :D :D :D
You're going to have to wait till tomorrow guys. I can't do this right now, I'm in the middle of doing other stuff.
And finishing our tale,
come to understand why we were born.

Hi elf.
Would you care to explain a little more thoroughly why this is the world to you? My understanding of it is so scatterbrained and wordless- can't get it clearer at the moment, an explanation might help. Thank you!

Hmmmm.
I knew you'd pin me down on this explanation business.
Well, look at the card in one of your decks.
I have a Marseilles deck in front of me, the Hadar.
(I am using only the Hadar for a month to see what happens. What could happen you ask. Let's see in a month.)
First it seems to me the speaker knows what the Mystery is.
She understands it, and yet she is with us in our frustration of trying to make sense of our lives.
That is the World to me.
She knows what is in our hearts because she is our cradle.
I just showed my nephew a rock that is in my garden called a spirit stone. I call these kinds of stones spirit stones. They are stones, rocks that get pushed up through the earth and find their way to me. They have faces on them. Easy to see faces. I've told my daughters that these stones are the Earth's way of telling us she is alive, that she is there, supporting us and cradling us. She feels our tears. She rejoices in our laughter. And if we are looking, she sends us little messages.
You'll have to ask Diana what tipped her off. I'm interested too Diana. How did you figure this out?

I already explained in my last post.
And finishing our tale,
come to understand why we were born.
We can then become Le Mat/The Fool/Le Fol which is NOT the first Arcanum of the Tarot, in spite of what some Tarot designers seem to think.

Will someone please take over the new Literature clue game.
Stuff has been happening... I have no time. Will probably not be posting for a few days till things have setttled down.
Thank you.

The Fool is both last *&* first - the Tarot is a circle - or a Moebius strip.

Um, not sure how to best go about handing this off......but if no one objects I'll offer it to Telcontar to have a go...what say you Telcontar? Game?

Of Course, game!
Well, I'd really like too. And as Sonja has just guessed the lyrics, I won't mix it up either and have the time. But I've got no books here at work, will search for a clue tonight.
Thanks for giving me this opportunity!
P.S.: See The Fool also as first AND last. And probably everything in between. The "zero that is everything"-thing really appeals to me :)
