Hmm, I didn't realize this one would be so difficult. You all are very close, but I had a different card in mind. I see the song as being about the "rat race": the constant struggle for success, competition in one's career and in life. The never-ending struggle to succeed.

To me this song is about the relentless struggle to succeed while in competition with others. From looking at the image on the RWS version of the card, I see it as someone defending his position from others who want to usurp it, competing to maintain it. Your turn, telcontar! :)
