The Fool's Errand

Has anyone else played the computer game The Fool's Errand? It's a challenging game made up mainly of word puzzles, structured around a Tarot theme with silhouette art. You can download it for free, for both Windows and Mac, at the link provided. I played it over ten years ago, when I was in college, but I am bringing it up now because a sequel, The Fool and His Money, is finally being released next month. I hope to get others interested in these games so that the author, Cliff Johnson, will continue making more. :) Felicity

Hi felicityk, Are you running this game on a Windows PC? The instruction manual explains how to run it on a MAC using two disk drives. I don't even have one disk drive, just a dvd and a cd.

I actually haven't tried to run it on my current Mac. I played it over 10 years ago on a Mac Classic and didn't need the disk drive; I just copied all the files to my hard drive. Felicity

The game in question works for all Macs and Windows. You can download it free of charge and read the Macintosh and/or Windows instructions in the download section of the website. The old disks will not work. You must download the new files.
