What’s Happening Spread
Power Tarot by Trish MacGregor and Phyllis Vega

Question: Just a general “What’s Happening” in my life

Card 1: The Event: Quatre d’Epeés
Card 2: What you need to know about this event: The Char VII
Card 3: Ultimate Effect: (mystery card)

The Event: Quatre d’Epeés
The Quatre d’Epeés shows two sets of two swords interwoven at either end. In the center between the swords sits a flowering plant with yellow and blue petals and a red fruit denoting that the mental energies of the swords will bring forth red (material) fruit.

A period of solitude and reflection will result possibly from a period of illness, causing you to temporarily remove yourself from your everyday life.

What you need to know about this event: The Char VII
Quote:
Tarot How to Read the Future by Fred Gettings
The image presents one of the ancient psychological teachings concerning the threefold nature of man. The charioteer represents the mind, or inner-most self; the chariot represents the body; and the horses represent the emotions. If the relationship between these three is good, then the driver controls the horses, keeps them in check, and the chariot stays on the road, moving towards some known destination. If the horses (emotions) are not well controlled, because the driver is asleep or does not know how to manage them, then they run off with the chariot and leave the road, running around in circles and going nowhere. If the chariot (the body) is not well built or reasonably maintained, it will break under the pressure of the emotions or under the weight of the driver, and will certainly not stand up to the demands made of it. If the driver (the mind) has no aim, and no destination, then the chariot is moving to no purpose. Thus, a picture of an alert charioteer driving a well-regulated team in a splendid carriage is an analogy of what man might achieve by inner and outer effort in life.

The journey that your mind will embark on during this time of solitude will renew your focus on your goals. Things that seemed muddled and blurry will be once again clearly in focus.

Ultimate Effect: (mystery card)
The changes that you bring about as a result of the mental readjustments will significantly change your life for the better although you will lose something in the process.

What is the mystery card?
