Would you take if you were shiprecked and marooned like Crusoe on a desert island. For years so you had one card to contemplate and think about your past and if you were ever rescued your future. It maybe a card that reminded you of home ,a person, or what you hoped would be your future if a sail ever appeared over that horizon. You can be specific or vague whatever!! Mine might be the 10 of coins in the morgan greer pack as I love the sense of unity but the prospect of rescue and return of human and material comfort may keep me going!!Apart from that it would remind me of home or in Welsh Hiraeth.G.

Since all my readings would thus be the same, one card,
one outcome, I'd want my card to be the 6 of Swords:
...a journey by water.

Lovely post G.
To Remind me that life and our experiences run in cycles, that what goes up must come down, that the circle and cycle is full of adventure and possibilities and that to let go, allows nature just to take us on her magic journey.

For me, either The Lovers or The Universe from the Thoth deck. I feel I could spend loads of time just meditating on those two.

I'd take the Universe card from the Thoth deck, definitely. Just because it's beautiful and I never tire of looking at it.

The Temperance card from The WorldTree Tarot is quite soothing.
I would probably often gaze at it for some spiritual uplifting, knowing that tomorrow is another day.

the highpriestess, in general, can keep you thinking for ages: revealing secrets, hidden thoughts, that you already have an answer but it is disguised and so on, she knows the answer but is for you to find out when listening to your intuition..... i love her

The SUN so I would enjoy whatever is before me and find happiness in my new place and not worry about those things that are beyond my control.

I might bring Justice to remind me that everything happens for a reason and that no matter how bad a situation might appear, (being stuck alone on a desert island for example!), somehow it's always for your own good in the end.

I would take the Stars from the Estensi tarot.
- It has a star, signifying hope
(of staying alive)
- There is a woman with an arrow and seashells, symbols of Diana & Venus
(food and more food)
- There are two joking fish, one smiling, another laughing.
(Happy people live longer!)
- A ship in the horizon.
(Rescue)
- A calm sea.
(Good weathers)
Need I say more? :)

I would take the 9 cups from any deck so if I wanted to I could wish myself off the island and then if I wanted (if my life got too much and I needed a holiday) to return I could wish myself back

Nice Idea for a thread. :) I would take the 10 of Cups so that I would always remember my family and friends and all the good times and things in my life. Plus it would give me hope.
