How do you shuffle a large deck?

Help, I like to riffle my Tarot Cards. I like the way a deck feels when it's been broken in, but I have just read a question about "what do you do with a large deck". I usually riffle them side to side. Is this a good idea - does it matter. By the way, Thanks for all the advise cj

Due to the various sizes of decks and the hands that shuffle them, do what works for you, even if you use different shuffling methods for different decks. However, be consistant with that choice.
