This topic is spawned by the awesome Nijinsky pic that's been greeting me at this site every day. What's the one card that just makes you think 'rrrow...hey there' when it comes up in a spread? I'm thinking the Knight of Swords...}> He strikes me as that bad 'the one my mother warned me about' boy of the deck. And then there's the High Priestess...

Corr... Knight of Wands, definitely... he;s dashing, sexy, very masculine, charming, with deep piercing eyes... And his Wand is very.. Um, phallic. I'm reffering to him from the Robin Wood deck, BTW.
It's either that or the Hanged Man from Robin Wood. When he's not hanged upside down. Or maybe that woman from teh Four of Wands in Robin Wood? And I'd probably agree with you on the High Priestess one. Esp. in Robin Wood...
And basically all the women from Luis Royo's Black Tarot... Esp. The Star.

I have a thing for the 7 of Wands AND the 6 of Wands (in the Robin Wood deck) !!!!
.... and lets see, sexiest woman would have to be the High Priestess (again, in Robin Wood)
King of Swords seems so harsh!
and, for the LEAST sexiest card... it would have to be the Heirophant (Robin Wood)

for me the sexiest card i've seen is the 6 of cups in the rohrig deck. ggggggggrrrrrrr!! the rohrig is a sexy deck period to me. i can think of other cards in rohrig, too... the other decks don't do much for me. :D

Well I've looked, gone through them again, looked again and I finally have to admit it - as much as I love this deck none of the Rider Waite cards are sexy lol - some very attractive ones but not sexy ..oh well :)

the Devil/Horned One (Cernunnos) in Legend: Arthurian Tarot is pretty sexy to me. Those piercing eyes. Although, he is half animal (half the attraction?) and a little scary - very powerful but in spite of or because of, very attractive. A night with this guy would change your life forever! ;)

I'm glad you liked my Knight. You should check what was said about him in the Decks forum - someone there said he reminded them of someone they knew so maybe they could fix you up...
My vote goes to the Magician or the Knight of Swords, whose personalities have many similarities in my experience. If you check my profile you can see my Magician card (unfortunately the image is a bit too small to have a close look). I tried to attach him to this mail so you could see him in all his glory (!) but couldn't work out how to.

Nijinsky: Hey, I'm liking the Magician as well! I really hope you get this published...any updates on the status? BTW, did you name the deck after the dancer Nijinsky? If so, are any of the people featured in your deck also dancers? Just wonderin' cause I'm a ballet fan.
Queenie: A friend read for me with the L: AT deck and Cernunnos came up for me. I bought the deck because of that card. It would be very interesting to bump into him on some forested path...;)

All the queens in Crowleys deck get me going,
The Queen of Swords is really sexy. Look at the way she is sitting. The Queen of Disks is lying in a very come hither way,....very enticing.
The Queen of Wands is a bit scarey for me. I've been out with women like that.
But the Queen of Cups, while not being essentially scarey, is very attractive. She is just a wee bit more shy than the others.

I think there are alot of sexy cards in the Rohrig too - among my favourites are :- The Lovers, 6 Cups, Ace of Cups.
In the Crow's Magick The Chariot is a nice card :)

Rohrig is a popular one and I must say I have always been attracted to his devil!
Never seen Njinski tarot before ... what a fantastic deck! I very much liked the Vertigo but the majors and courts in this are very thought provoking. I love the style.
And as for sexy! - don't get me started!

can it really be anything other than Crowley's Devil?
the wry, knowing smile on the goat, the sensuous twist of his horns, the phallic image that just can't be contained by the borders of the card, the way it penetrates the 'halo', the orgy going on in the 'orbs'.
none of this is by accident.

I don't really find any of the *cards* sexy. Maybe the Moon in the vampire deck (I don't really know many decks except for that one and The Russian Tarot of St. Petersburg) What I find sexy is when I have a readin for myself and I get The Devil while My Vampire deck is being used. (hense my signitre) It has a lot of sexual meaning behind it. :) Also, it has some other good meanings. Power, etc. I really try to avoid obsesing over the artwork. I find myself far too interested in the usage and meanings behind the cards.

Well, I don't know about you guys, but I am really adoring the king of cups in my new Vikings deck. He has a great expression of deep, warm-hearted and intelligent humor. I love the little gray patches on this temples and beard. He looks powerful and gentle at the same time. Now that's sexy in my book :)

I like the knight of cups in the Juliette Sharman Bourke deck, (the one illustrated by Giovanni Caselli), I find him sensitive and alluring, wouldn't mind taking off with him on his horse.
Also, the Queen of cups of the same deck, she is depicted as sensual and I think quite sexy if I were a bloke.

Cosmic tribe is the "sexy" deck.
full of hunks!
Especially the 3 of wands/knight of swords guy
but the chariot is hot too.
I just think it odd that while it features some more full-figured ladies the guys are all scrawny or athletic. I kind of like chubby guys myself..
oh well.
when (if) I grow up I wanna be like Queen of Disks. I find her joy and presence to be sexy.

you're right i should have said that these were lovely ladies to be offered up for man and woman alike.
And someone asked why the women in the cosmic tribe were full figured and the men look like models. Well the artist is a gay man and we tend to be more critical of the male physique and are happy with abundant goddesses in women. So it's an interesting role reversal especially after so many Lo Scarabeo decks where the men can be pudgy or course and the women have to be slim and gorgeous. It's a little bit like the Sistine chapel; check out Eve looking butch and meaty and then check out Adam being lean and sexy. That Michaelangelo knew his boys.

Hey - what a topic! I'd have to go for the Devil in any deck! Being a voluntary slave to your physical desires - giving in to the base part of your being! Being able to remove the chains but choosing not to...How can that not be sexy? If I was feeling romantic I'd say the Knight of Cups but if we're talking raunchy, it's definitely the Devil. Even though in the Mythic deck he's a bit of an ugly bug. Still, you can't help who you feel lustful for can you?!

I don't know about the man in the lover's card (don't own the deck, although I did try awhile back & it just didn't work out . . . ) but I have to say--Robin Wood's magician is very, very, VERY sexy. I'm not sure exactly why--possibly the expression on his face, or the carefully articulated neck/adam's apple, or the cut of his shirt (the way it opens so casually in the middle of the chest . . . ) Well actually I think it's mainly the expression--if any man who looked like that ever looked at ME like that . . . I would simply melt right there on the spot, that would be the end of me. Fortunately (or, not) real life doesn't seem to work that way . . .
--He glows, he actually glows from within, doesn't he--?? --It's an incredible thing, yes it is. I wonder whether Robin Wood actually planned for her card to affect me this way?!?
