I am just beginning and I have a question about three card spreads. I saw a spread in a book that had the card in the middle representing the "focus of present situation" and the cards on the left and the right as "major influences." I have a question that I think would best be answered by this. However, the book doesn't say of the first card turned over is the middle "focus of present" or the "major influence" on the left.
Do I turn them over left to right, so the middle card is the focus? Or is the first card the focus?
Thanks for your help.

There´s No rules for what your asking..... decide the meaning of 1-2-3 in the way that works best for you, maybe how you remember them, and then lay the spread - don´t be afraid to do it wrong - you can´t :)
