Hi,
Awhile ago someone posted a very good summary of the difference between 5 of swords and 5 of wands. I cannot find the posting. Suggestions? These two cards seem similar to me. Thanks.

Hi!
Thirteen's Tarot Basics is the best resource I know for learning about cards. Check out this link!http://aeclectic.net/tarot/basics/fives.html
I've linked to the fives only, but I can personally recommend this resource for all the cards!
I hope you find the information you're looking for, I think that link explains it a whole lot better than I could if I tried...! :D

Have you tried searching the forums for the original post, quan yin? (There's a search button down the bottom of the screen in each forum)
As far as I know, though, the 5 of swords is about fighting someone who already has an edge - the cards are advising you not to get drawn into the conflict as it is an unfair fight.
Whereas, the five of wands is about conflict that you have a chance of resolving fairly.
Does that kind of make sense?
