I WONDER IF ANYBODY HERE HAS EXPERIENCE IN USING THE TAROT TO CONTACT THE DEAD ?

I don't know if that'd be considered a seance or not. I think it's probable, but hard to do. It would depend on whether you feel people die & are able to be contacted at any time thereafter--or if they die & are reincarnated after a certain amount of time (therefore only able to be contacted while they're in transition, so to speak)--or if their energies stay somewhere long enough & have memory while the person themselves goes elsewhere.........I think that it all depends on your belief system rather than who you're contacting. Tricky question

yes, theres a reason for doing this....but its pretty weird! Im sorry I missed your replies, I been off. My daughter recently moved to a house, with an atmosphere you could cut with a knife.It was so unbearable i took to sitting in the porch. We researched the history and to cut a long story short-ish--a previous tenant killed his wife the shot himself , leaving 6 kids. Things happen when Im there, and not when Im not (!) The dead wife had my name, my agen and my background, and I thought maybe she was tryin to reach me.But I did the tarot in the stairs, & got a surprize....it worked, very well.Question & answer, Q & A---so fast and so clear. I was gobsmacked..If anybody interested, I can post the whole reading. I only did 7 questions and had to stop, I was crying so hard i couldnt see the cards..We got a medium coming this friday.

OK. I DIDNT USE ANY SPREAD, I WAS SAT IN A NARROW STAIRWAY.I ASKED WHO IS HERE? & CUT. GOT KING WANDS REV,INTOLERANT BIGOTED MAN,VIOLENT BELLIGERANT JEALOUS. I ASKED ARE YOU MR.SWINNEY?-& GOT KING CUPS REV.CRAFTY HOT TEMPERED MAN,EVIL& DISHONEST. I ASKED WHAT DO YOU WANT?-GOT JUSTICE. I ASKED WHAT DO YOU MEAN--GOT THE MAGICIAN REV-TRICKERY & DECEPTION, BE CAREFUL WHO YOU TRUST. I DONT FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT ONE... SO SINCE THEN MY DAUGHTER BOUGHT A DIGICAM & BEEN FLITTING ROUND THE HOUSE TAKING PICS OF ORBS, LOOKING FOR THE TALL DARK YOUNG MAN!! NOTHING LIKE THIS HAS EVER, EVER, HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE SO I THOUGHT WE NEEDED A MEDIUM.

This is SO embarrassing ----because I dont know !! They were given to me by my daughter years ago as a Christmas present, just cheap ones ....but they the ones which really work.They are like the Marseilles deck a bit.I also like to use the Russian deck....I now got 2 different mediums coming down to Cris house tomorrow.Lets hope we get some sense out of this. I've done the cards for a long long time, & never had a reading like this !

the medium came last night --and proves my tarot reading was right - Im so pleased about that. I love the tarot & like proof that it works. She saw the 2 men i got in the cards, said they were fighting in the house, starting in the bedroom and fell down the stairs still fighting. She said it wasnt a spur of themoment thung, that Mr.Swinney planned to kill his wife, and that he was a horrible man, a drinker, & she didnt have much of a life with him.She says they not haunting the house, it isnt them, they want to let sleeping dogs lie. She said an old lady who died in her sleep is there, she nice but nosy and loves the baby.We did find this out months ago while checking the history of the house, that an old lady was found dead in bed in 1976. The medium laughed and said the old woman told her Cris "had an awful job with the fire..." this is true. My daughter never had a coal fire before & took months to get the hang of it. She also got the young man ,nice, that I got in the cards.He grew up in this house & played in the stairs. He stayed because he has happy memories of the place, and she thinks he might be the old womans son. So I got the same people in the cards she got, & Im very pleased !We found out what the sadness is--and its a different story!

i hope this isn't too late. you can use the cards as an intercessor of the messages of the spirits. just concentrate and focus your questions on the spirits you want to contact. then deal the cards. they should show the spirits answers. :)

When you got the "Justice" and "Magician reversed" cards, perhaps it meant that this man can't go on to the other side until justice has been done in some way? The upright Magician is channeling energy from the spiritual into the material realm and the reversed card suggests to me an enrgy flow in the opposite direction, from the material realm - the house - into the spiritual. Some ghosts keep bound to the place of their misdeeds until there is some sort of repentance done; this could be the balancing of Justice. The "3 of Pentacles": This card appeared for the other man, right? Together with "Temperance". Temperance is the "healing" card... the 3/Pentacles show an architect, a carpenter (?) and a priest. I think the priest is the important thing here. Perhaps the house should be exorcised or blessed? Perhaps a priest/ess is needed to show them the way into the light? Those are my guesses, I don't have much experience with haunted houses (and the one I have doesn't help here)...

the medium has been---and she was awesome ,very,very good. and she proved my cards, THE cards, work!first thing she got was men trapped, digging,choking.running, trying to get out. The house is right on top of an air shaft for a mine, so old that we cant get a date on it, but before 1880.The medium knew nothing at all on the house, nothing. then she got in the next door room, a crowd of women & children. the women wearing shawls.& all just standing silently. this must have been the pit head, & they were waiting for news. Then she got the couple who died in the 50's. he was a horrible man she said--his wife had no life at all with him. but in the cards I got 2 men--& the medium said there were 2 men, they started fighting in the bedroon, fell downstairs fighting, and ended up in the garden still fighting. this must mean the husband came home & caught the boyfriend in the house. She then said --he meant to kill her, it wasnt spur of the moment thing. Next she got 2 people who are still in the house. My tall dark young man, nice, who has happy memories of the house where he grew up, & his mother. an old lady who had depression. the medium said she didnt think much of my daighters housekeeping, & noticed she had an awful time with the fire!! (This is true, its a huge old stove, & a nightmare). she stayed beside the baby as she loves her. edium said she just went to sleep and never woke up--this is true .It happened in 1976 & we already found that.So, it was worth it, an eye-opener. I proves my cards work-although I only got half the picture- - & it told me why I cry in that corner...The medium said the tarot cards are a crutch, an aid for true psychics....& to try blank cardboard cut up ...you can develope your power that way, & through time see the cards in your head. Guess who's going to try it ???thanks everyone for your interest.

the other thing I meant to say---before Cris took this awful house---every time we read the cards we got The Moon rev----TAKE CARE, ALL IS NOT AS IT SEEMS....! i think movin into a house full of dead people would qualify for this eh?

Hi. I was interestred in what you said--I think you right. But the medium didnt suggest any kind of blessing & we not sure if the church does that anymore.It certainly needs something to lift the oppression in there, the tenants before Cris only stayed 2 months----& they painted the living room a bright,cheerful yellow the first weekend they were in! If this has gone on for 100 years it not goin to be easy to shift ! Cris is actually thinking now of moving.She's not aware of any spirits but is getting headaches & weepy.

We got a reply today from Parascience who are analysing the photos taken in the house. They say the orbs are genuine, not reflected from the camera but an internal light source. They compare with other pics taken in known haunted buildings.They say this is usually caused by geomagnetic anomalies (!) in the ground, and that we might get poltergeist activity also. Cris has decided she had enough, & she lookin for somethin else now.It not affectin her directly, but the lights flicker, now they goin off, the smoke detector keeps goin off, and she gettin headaches. So I think she best just to go--although i feel desperately sorry for the souls in there.

to anybody who followed the story of my daughters house---i think I got things sorted out in my mind now. Thanks to the ghosthunter with Edinburgh college of Parapsychology...his name is Archie and he in his 60's. Fantastic man, very calm and common sense. He says first that an entity of the type we found in that house(his words) he has never known to harm anyone. Secondly, that I have mediumistic gifts (cant spell them, never mind use them!) but need training in how to use them, or I get swamped with too much stuff. Third, and most important to me---the sheer bloody terror I flet the last time i read the cards was the fear from the miners before the roof came in. Im geting my wires crossed in thinking it came from the murderer. Also, I wasa worried because they seemed to nearer, closer and easier to reach---he says no, its just me, im getting more accustomed to doin this.SO. I feel better now--but am still wearin my mothers ring in that house...just in case!

Ming did this Archie guy tell you how you could improve your abilities? are you going to pursue this? i am so interested in all of this... i just did a past life reading today for someone who died in a war, cut to the throat, and i SWEAR i could feel it. i almost threw up! i've always felt things like sadness - similar to your feelings of the miners - suddenly for no reason, & believe i'm picking up spirits. but like you, i don't know how to manage it. did he suggest anything? books? his school? this is so fascinating, are you going to write an article about it and submit it to a paranormal paper? ;you should!! its fascinating!!!
