Wings of the Phoenix Spread is the best!

I just have to sing the praises of Phoenix's spread. I used my brand spanking new Hanson-Roberts deck with this and am just blown away with the results! Out of a 14 card spread, 8 were either Major Arcana or Court cards - definitely an important message to be passed along. Thanks Phoenix, for creating it! Hey~ I completely agree with you! This morning, I tried the Wings of the Phoenix for the first time. I gotta say, it was really amazing. I really love this spread now!!!!!! Thanks a lot for coming up with it, Phoenix!

Yep - tried it to, works quite well for me - but took a while to get the hang of it. Nice one - been working on an Ankh-spread myself, and will have to splat it on this forum one of these days. I'll keep you all posted.

Oh, I've forgotten to try it for real - oops! I threw out some cards in Sicily to try this spread out, just to see how it was to interpret, not a real reading (it was too hot...!). It seemed to work just fine! I have this feeling it might work best for issues you don't work on often, "deeper issues", spiritual guidance readings perhaps. I'm thinking of trying it with my Osho deck... hmmm... :) (I did however use a part of the Phoenix Spread for Oriel's reading ("Guinea pigs wanted"-thread, in the Reading exchange forum) - I used the "Phoenix's body" to do a general reading, I hope that was OK...! :)) Thanks from me too Phoenix! OMG: Starfish: I swear to you that I was browsing through these posts here and had already PM'ed you your reading when I saw this and got goosepimples again...I am convinced you and I knew each other in a past life. I had no idea you liked this spread so much and when I pulled the deck I did your reading with out of my bag, a copy of this spread fell out and that is what prompted me to do your reading with it!!! WOW. I'd love to try the spread, I'm just not sure I could attempt to read more than a 5-card at this time :D I'm writing it down on my tarot journal!
