Cards of death--a twist

Last night I dreamt that a friend of mine who lives in another state and is HIV+, died of AIDS. THis morning I drew the 10 of Cups and The Star (17) cards using the Universal Waite. I didn't think about the cards too much. when I sat down to draw them--they are wonderful cards--although I am wary of the 10's-- and a lot of wonderful things are happening in my life right now. Then I thought, I should consult the cards about my friend. I looked over at the cards and saw that they do indeed describe a death. I will know for certain when I call down there and ask about him.
