Just a couple of questions for all you experienced readers.
I am just beginning to read the cards and want to do readings for people on the net.
1. How did you get people who wanted their cards read?
2. How did you get paid for doing it?
Any Advice would be welcome.
Thanks in advace

I would say that the best way of reading for people on-line if you`re a beginner is to wait until you`ve done 25 posts on Aeclectic and then go to the reading exchange forum and offer to read, I`m sure you`ll get plenty of responses. I wouldn`t even think about getting paid for readings until you`re a couple of years down the line and feel as if you know a little about what you`re doing - reading someones cards is quite a big responsibillity and if they`re paying you then they`ll expect you to be good.
Oh and welcome to the forums by the way.

Welcome to Aeclectic, Pixxyuk!
I agree with crystalmynx: first learn how to read and get lots of practice.
This forum is a good place to start learning. Just browse through all the forums and you'll find lots of information. Post any questions you may have.
Also check out Thirteen's Tarot Basics and Joan Bunning's website (which contains a free online course).

You can also practice doing live readings if you're comfortable with that. I usually carry a deck around in my purse. One day, when the boss was away (Mental Health Day ;)), my coworkers wanted me to read for them because I'd mentioned that I did. I did readings for four people, and it was a really great experience. I mentioned that I was still learning and didn't charge for it.
