Is it possible for 3persons to shuffle a deck asking the same question?

My group friends came up with the idea of having several people asking the same question as in whether they will be able to have their friendship last forever. Would it be possible?
Or just a representative will be enough for it?

well you could split the deck up and have each person shuffle..then they can pull one card each maybe? One representitive would be good..but a group may be more fun..or pass it around the group..and see how each recieves the reading.

There are no laws or rules governing Tarot. Anything is possible.

being that anything is possible...
you could use different decks for each person...3 cards each...you could use one deck..one person shuffle draw...keep card out OR put back in..next person shuffles and draw, etc....boythe possibilities are endless...you could just get all 3 together and let them figure it out.

Ok, it will be fun right?
So I believe there are no rules in tarot.
Or they do exist?

It's "no rules" in a general sense, but I think--and this is really my very humble opinion--that we each create our own, individual rules and that these help us in readings.
For example, if *I* were doing this--three people asking the same question with the same deck--I'd allow it, but I'd cleanse the deck inbetween shuffles. That would entail me taking up the deck after the reading, shuffling it "clean," and then envisioning it "cleansed" by a white light, before handing it to the next person. Otherwise I would fear that the deck would, if you will, get confused.
That's *my* rule. Someone else may have another.
So, I would answer your question this way:
1) Yes, you can do it--if YOU feel it's "allowed." (Some readers would not allow it, and that's THEIR rule for THEIR deck).
2) Create your own rule for how it ought to be done.

ok- I think that is a great idea of something fun to do together with your friends and Tarot. I like the ideas thet others have responded with in the thread. But please keep in mind that with a question like that (will we stay friends forever) and each person drawing one card only, you will probably get a lot of hard to interpret information. We all know that the answer already is that you CAN stay friends forever, but it is an open ended statement with infinite "If's" at the end.
If you need help figuring out the cards you pull, post them in the "your readings" section. I am curious to see what you get!

Oh sure, they exist…
But after reading your posts in plagiarism…I think it’s best to allow you to learn about the rules of the universe the way everyone else does…the hard way.
Besides, you’ll have far more respect down the road…

It could be a very interesting exercice, because everyone has different ideas of what friendship really is. I think that the readings could give a lot of insight into how each of you actually views your friendship, the role they play in it, and how they actually see each other. And what does "forever" mean to each person.
This being so, it is also the kind of reading which could split up a friendship, because looking hard at oneself and one's relationship to others can give a very different perspective on things. I mean, imagine if you realised that one of your friends was only your friend because you always have the latest video games, or because you have money, or because your sister is nice-looking.........
Of course, it could also seal a friendship and make it stronger.
Tarot always tells you like it is, so one must be sure one wants to hear the answer before one asks it.

As Thirteen has mentioned cleansing, first of all, i did not even start any rituals at the beginning of playing tarot or even had prayers and quotes to say before a reading. Maybe that's me.
Umbrae, with what perception do you look upon me when I gave my views on plagiarism? I'm keen on knowing what kind of person I am as I'm unable to see myself with an bystander eye. Hope you understand what I mean.
Anyway, i'll try out this with my friends and will take note of the results and post it here.

I tried it out with my friends and the result was accurate.
I let the 4 of them shuffled the deck by taking turns and I used the PPF. As for both the past and present results are suprisingly true. Regarding the future, no one can tell.
I did it with:-
x1Px2Px3Px4Px
x1Px2Px3Px4Px
x1Fx2Fx3Fx4Fx
I was excluded from the readings. Numbers are my friends in order.
I do hope someone try it out too.

This is a very interesting use of the Tarot. Certainly one I'd not thought of. How did the reading turn out, NeXoRious? Just in general terms?

Yeah, general terms of how they treat their friendships. Maybe they could be linked together. I had forgotten to do it. I'll try it the next time.

I'm with Umbrae. Now that I have started live readings, I feel I am prepared to go in whatever direction the reading leads us. That's one of the magical gifts of Tarot.
