The website showing this nebula photographed by the Hubble Telescope has moved, so I put it here as an attachement.
Tell me:
WHAT DO YOU SEE?

I'm not quite sure if we're supposed to be guessing the card itself, what deck it's from, or just saying what we see in the nebula...
If it's the latter, then I see a goblin, orc, or strange ogre-like creature from the side...
If it's the latter, I have no idea.

Aha. I know, it was a trick question. It is not from any deck. It is a photograph of a nebula from the hubble telescope.
Unfortunately it is kind of small. I have written to the site to see if I can get reference to where they have hidden the big version on line.
Before I tell you what card it illustrates to me, let me say, I was hoping people would say (as you just did) what they see in the nebula, because I see something amazing, but I don't want to form people's minds for them.... Okay, so you see a goblin...
Where is the head, eyes, does it have a body? What do you see in the center? and do you know what a nebula is?

I see a green island and trees, covered in swirling mist, it has mountains and a plateau - one side of the island is higher than the other, and a lake reaching down to the black sea, it must be night for the sea to be so dark - the red spots are part of an active volcano, but its not about to erupt, it is mist and cloud swirling round not smoke. In daylight it would be a paradise island lol :)
I don't see a goblin. :)
I think it would be The World if it was a card.

it is kinda small..:(
i like ink blot kinda stuff
when I first looked....someones face fell off thier head and the 'lights' inside.
but I stared at it for a bit longer....
there is a lizard like creature on the left...looks like he's blowin' smoke...
under him is a hand reaching palm up...
it reaches towards the light in some crevass.
the light surrounds what looks like an embryo.....
and as for a card....the World, which in my trusty deck is called the Universe

That is what I was thinking, especially the World Card as depicted by Crowley.
A nebula is a cloud of gasses, incubating a cluster of stars. This is a picture of a giant starbirth, a nebula called NGC-64
I have found a bigger photo on the web:
http://www.seds.org/messier/Pics/Jpg/m33n604.jpg
Here is a website for NGC-604 with the same picture upside down.
http://fusionanomaly.net/nebulangc604.html
"Explanation: The nebula cataloged as NGC 604 is a giant star forming region, 1500 light years across, in the nearby spiral galaxy, M33. Seen here in a snapshot by the Hubble Space Telescope, over 200 newly formed, hot, massive, stars are scattered within a cavern-like, gaseous, interstellar cloud. The stars irradiate the gas with energetic ultraviolet light stripping electrons from atoms and exciting them - producing a characteristic nebular glow. The details of the nebula's structure hold clues to the mysteries of star formation and its effect on the evolution of galaxies. " from http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap960816.html

I saw a cooking class taking place!!! The teacher is in the back (on the left) looking over her shoulder... the person/alien is in front of a stove... there is a pot of water on our right, in the middle a pot with some type of big shellfish in it, and the left, some type of sauce. She is reaching over on the counter to pick up some red spices to "kick it up a notch". Maybe it can be said she is also learning how to "create" life.

THAT IS WHAT I SAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To me, this is a picture of the Orphic Egg!! The lizard or snake, or dragon would be Ophion, hatching the orphic egg out of which all things in the universe flew! this is the myth depicted on Crowley's Universe card!!!
P.S. the other things you guys saw -- the cooking class, the garden, also amazing! Yes, its like a Roschach blob.
The amazing thing here, is this is an actual photograph of an actual world, (stars) actually being hatched and born.

I immediately thought of Ilbe in the Faeries Oracle. Ilbe is the Retriever. He finds our lost hopes and dreams as well as our lost car keys.
Maybe even lost souls. I am glad that he is now in outer space as well.

I should have responded earlier, but have had problems with time lately...
The image reminded me of a swan-like creature pecking at its own breast, as if to feed its young-to-be-hatched within the reddish egg-like structures in its innards.
As such, the Pelican/Swan/Phoenix aspect is what comes to mind.
If I had to relate it to a specific card, certainly an element of the Universe (Crowley-Harris World card) inevitably comes to mind...
...but what an incredible image of winged metamorphosis and creation!
Thankyou so much, fiery maiden...

Ah, NOW I see the embryo! Silly me with my overactive imagination...
I actually see it as the Judgement card, which to me is about Rebirth... If I remember correctly many decks (Incl. Crowley's?) have an embryo in the Judgement card?

Yeah- as soon as you said think about what a nebula is, I saw the baby (fetus) in the image. That's beautiful. It would make a great card. I think it should be the world, because it doesn't just show the baby, but the cosmic womb that created it too. I could be wrong though, as I am still a little shaky on the world card. (I never draw it in readings either)

In korea's traditional legend
All dragons lived at small pond with state of small snake
called "IMUGI"
and 1000years left changed to Dragon

In korea too... but dragon was Divine creature in korea
When i saw that picture
I Saw a huge Black Dragon "EUNG RYONG" known as korea
In Korea black dragon was Rainmaker and King of North Sea
there are Four king of sea in Orient

King of West Sea Red Dragon Master of Fire
King of South Sea White Dragon Master of Wind
King of North Sea Black Dragon Master of Water

Thank you Lucifer! That is fascinating especially with regards to this picture and to the tarot.
So in this picture you see the Black dragon and the rainmaker who is the King of the North Sea? Are the dragons also considered creators of the universe?
Is the light orb also symbolised by a pearl?

Yes, yes I saw Black Dragon the rainmaker and that was Created
by God... and Light orb was um... lighting seven colors in orient.
black dragon was Controller same as the other dragons.
In orient Dragons was all rainbringer.
In Farming rain was very important material in past orient
No water tank or Water tower only method of get water is rain
so they perform religious service to Dragons for get the water.
In tarot card I think like unders...
To get things to Try and your will must be come true
Be patience Now is the time to wait but it will be soon realize.
Lighing orb i found in dictionary and it translated to cintamani
realize one's cherished wishes meaning...
I think same as sun card, Justice card, and world card
Do one's best it will obtain Excellent result...
how about that?
i want to hear your thought...
thanks.

I see a cocker spaniel on his hind legs as if he were up against a sliding glass door and I was viewing him from inside. The glowing red ball would be where his belly is.

I have to go with Lady Medusa, Dragoness with baby eggs.
It's a nest.
But I just read all of Lucifer's posts and Wow!!! it's the Wheel and 9 of cups!!!
The information you provided us with is Grand, Lucifer!
The dragon 'eggs' are an emerald and a ruby!!!

First I thought it to look like a leopard cub, but if it has to be associated with a card, I would say a lion cub.
The Strength card? I know the lion in question has grown somewhat.

I saw Dragons too!
It looked to me like a dragon egg in the process of hatching, with the great black mother dragon protecting it. I actually felt creation energy emanating from the photo image. Amazing.
Thanks, Firemaiden.

Very interesting site firemaiden, hope my view didn't offend anybody.
Dark Eyes.
p.s. Perhaps I should have another look to see what my eye takes in.
