The SAME cards 3 days out of 4

I have been selecting 2 cards each day (except yesterday) and the last 3 times I have selected the same 2 cards ie 3 of Vesicas (pentacles I think) and Hermit card. Am I not learning some lessons to keep getting the same cards? I recently was told that Hermit is my soul card, which felt right. I shuffle the cards and lay them out and chose two at random. Any thoughts? TIA Sharon Red EArth

I believe that you have answered your question yourself. I think it is possible that a lesson must be learned, and that you have not yet learned it. I am not very good in describing the meaning of the cards, but you might want to try to post in the 'Your readings' board to ask for assistance. I'm sure there'll be plenty of helpful people who will be able to tell you what the lesson might be. Good luck! Love, Athara

Red, This question goes with 'each deck reads differently'. Post in the Your Reading section with the added info of which deck. I the mean time. Take a look at the images, what is happening. ie is the hermit moving to the past (left) or to the future (rt)..is the lesson to come or one you learned and are not acknowledging..What is going on in the 3 of cups..that card is "the child" to me. and in cups that means the fruit of your work.. Could the message be that your studing is starting to pay off (thus the child-ability to read without the book). Is this somehting the cards have been trying to tell you and you don't have the confidence to listen (hermit facing left) or is this somehting you are learning now and need to keep moving forward with (hermit facing rt)??? Thank you to you both, I am sorry I posted in the wrong section. The deck is Glastonbury tarot. cjtarot, i think you may be right as the hermit is facing left, and I keep getting the same message in different ways that I am not facing up to something. Thank you again Red EArth

The good thing about tarot is that the cards are persistant. The bad thing about tarot is the cards are persistant. These cards will keep coming up in readings for you until something changes. It might only be an acknowledgement that you recognize the lesson. Once this happens the cards will help guide you to the next level .
