Any suggestions?

Hi, I am very new to using Tarot and I was wondering if anyone could offer any suggestions on reversals because I am somewhat confused about what they are and how to use them. Thanks, Ruby

Ruby, if you look at the top right-hand side of the screen, you'll see a button that says "search." Click on that, and another screen will open -- this connects to the Aeclectic search engine, which is powerful! Just type the word "reversals" into the search field, and voila -- you'll find enough material on reversals to keep you glued to the computer for weeks! :)

Just dont use reversals till your comfortable. For me personnaly when i started out i didnt use reversals untill i was very comfortable with my deck. I was told once that there are enough negative cards in the deck already without the need to add reversals. just focuse on getting the general meanings of the cards and go based on ur intuition. let ur thoughts guide u.

Ruby, Hi! Another newbie member! Yay! Anywayz.. Reversals are kinda a tricky thing and something everyone debates about...I found that out the day I popped in. When I began with my deck about 2 yrs or so ago, I used reversals cuz the book and LWB (lil white book) suggested it. I sorta wish I would have not used them in that beginning learning stage. "I was told once that there are enough negative cards in the deck already without the need to add reversals."--theman_ca. I believe that statement is true...but also there are some cards that are better reversed (i.e. tower, 5 of Pentacles, 10 Of Swords)...so I think you can succeed using reversals or not. And also, usually when I get a reversal, it means that the energy of the card upright is being blocked. Happy Readings! ~much love~ ~punkangel~
