Kris Hadar, the author of the Marseille deck known as the "Kris Hadar's Véritable Tarot de Marseille", as well as books on Tarot, notably "Le Tirage en Croix", has at last opened up the English version of his on-line Tarot and Numerology school. Here he teaches his method of reading the Tarot of Marseille. It was opened on May 24th.
I promised him I would let my friends here on Aeclectic know about it.
Here is the link: http://www.krishadar.com/
Kris Hadar is incredibly knowledgeable about the Tarot of Marseille. His generosity in sharing his knowledge is quite remarkable. On top of it, he is a scholar and a gentleman and has a wonderful sense of humour too.
I am waiting for his reply as to whether his Véritable Tarot de Marseille will soon be available to buy again. I will let you know when he has replied to me.

Diana, thank you, this site is FANTASTIC. I got no further than the non-crumbling tower and decided this has to be a new thread!

Hi Diane,
I had a lot of problems getting the main page to load. There were so many webring links that I think it was taking forever to load the main page. Also, I got multiple popups everytime I went to this site. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the host server or something else. I liked the information that is available once I got past the annoying stuff.

Oh great... now I am really glad that I purchased a copy of the Véritable Tarot de Marseille while I was in Geneva. This is a very promising site.
I didn't get any pop-ups but I have a program called Zone Alarm which does not allow pop ups to load on the your pc while your surf. I would recommend it. It is from zonelabs.com.

Wondrful site, Dinah! Thanks!
I signed up, of course (Passive Member 'til I get on track here in Tower land). I love his humor. (Maybe that's due to my English mother....) Love his use of language too.....
Read a ton already.......
Thanks again! :)

Diana,
Thank you! Please tell Kris thank you on behalf of us folks that only speak English fluently. I really wish the American schools would put more push on teaching languages!
Hey Redwood, I have an extra Mersailles deck if you want to trade.
Hehehe

Thanks to Mimers. I shall be getting a marsielle deck! I still find it not pretty but the whole color thing from the site really interests me.
*raising deck when I get it* Heres to me not trading it off in the future..no guarantees :D Cheers!

Redwood,
I NEVER thought I would ever want a Marseilles deck. I purchased it because of a thread that jmd posted that convinced me it was important to understand the roots of Tarot. I think he is right and my Camoin has grown on me. I love it and find it has enhanced my readings. I hope you enjoy yours too!
