Just don't take advantage of the fact that you can delete yourself. It's trully irritating when a moderator posts a mean message to you, then comes aftewards and deletes himself. Oh, many members do this kind of thing (moderators are members too - we also pay our subscriptions). It's quite understandable sometimes. Although a member who is not a moderator cannot delete his/her whole post, if they regret something they have said because they were in a bad mood or had a bad migraine or something, they sometimes just go back and edit their post and delete what they regret they wrote. And sometimes they even delete all their text and just ask the moderator to then delete the post that says "delete please". It's is often a sign of responsibility and maturity, and not necessarily of running away from one's responsibilities.
