Edited to say: Stupid question anyway. Thanks for making me feel so much better.

I had a card go shooting out of the deck and across the table, face up. I'm actually thinking this one was intended for me to incorporate into my daily reading. It answers a concern of mine, and fits perfectly into the daily reading that I did for today. I'm kind of spooked by it actually because it does fit so well.

Looks like you've answered your own question there Sobe,

Hey Sobe, what card was it then? And what did you learn? I had a card assault me once. Read this:
Assaulted by the Three of Cups

Hi Sobe,
I end up reading them, if they come out its usually for a reason, especially if its a deck you usually handle and shuffle well. I have the Healing with the Angels oracle cards and these will always come out, I don't have to do a spread. They are lovely cards to shuffle too, good card stock, easy shufflers and yet they come leaping out at me lol

I wish you hadn't retracted your statement, Sobe. I love "Jumpers," or fallen cards.
"Jumpers" are sometimes the most relevant cards I'll get in an entire reading. I handle them differently : if they fall out face down or up, I leave them the way they fell. Face down cards aren't revealed until the end of a reading, for me.
Usually I read them as clarifiers. Most often, their message seems quite apparent in context with the rest of the reading.
If it's only one or 2 cards, I do set them aside like I said. Every great once in a while I will put them back, esp. if I know they didn't feel like they "jumped" but instead fell out of my hands. Hard to explain. If a bunch fall out, it's my clumsiness. If one or two jump while I'm shuffling, they've got energy and wanna come play/got something to say.

There used to be a member on Aeclectic who would only do readings with Jumpers. If there were no Jumpers, she wouldn't do the reading.

In fact Diana, if I remember rightly, that reading I did for you was just on the two fliers ... forget about the rest of the deck :O)

And a wonderful reading it was too. (Although I didn't have the courage to follow the advice. :( ).

Trogon: Don't feel sad. :D
It's just because you're an expert shuffler! Expert shufflers don't get jumpers!

I was fumbling around trying to shuffle/chunk the deck for a spread of 4 cards when a small pack of four cards flew in an arc onto the floor face down.........this normally doesn't happen to me. I turned them over & they were the answer to the question I'd posed.
I didn't know if I should be going "Duh!" or "Ooohhhh Scarey!"
