2 of pentacles reversed. RWS

I recently did a reading with my own spread trying to get a grasp on the next months. I got the 2 of pentacles reversed as a determing energy for the week. It follows the 7 of swords week which is coming up. I'm not an extremely experienced reader and I find this one perplexing. As I see it, this means some unfavorable juggling having to be done, probably financial.... Lack of focus with things going on around me. Any suggestions appreciated as this card escapes me. DH

You may be interested in reading through the Summary for the 2 of Coins thread in the Iconographic/Historical section of the Forums. One aspect which also comes to mind is to not overcommit to various activities or engagements during the week. It may be that the resources are more limited than the possibilities which open out desire, whether this be in terms of social commitments, sale items found, or commitments requiring completion. Another aspect which may be indicated is that attention may need to be paid to what is actually there - looking at the details, the fine print, rather than the whole picture. I'm sure others will bring differing insights and views :)

My first instinct is that the reversed two of pentacles suggests that this will be a week where you go "forget it!". You've worked really hard at trying to keep on top of things lately, and now you deserve some time off, so you're going to stop juggling those responsibilities and have some fun, to rediscover the point of doing all these things. Just be sure to do the things that really need doing (like second notice bills, ooh, that reminds me....), but apart from that, put it in a pile marked "Tomorrow" and go out and have some fun. Hi Desert Howler, Maybe 2/Discs reversed could mean for you that you have too many "irons in the fire" at the moment and so could be spreading yourself too thinly. For me 2/Discs means being caught off-guard, caught off balance, in not being prepared for what is around the corner. Showing the need to look ahead. Hope this is helpful, Gloria.
