Could anyone please tell me which particular Raider Waite card
usually represents the meaning of someone missing us.Thank you!

6 of cups would be a good one depending of course on its placement in a spread. For instance, if it appeared in a Celtic Cross spread in the 'environmental' position...voila!

Cups would be the best suit, I agree. And either 5, 6 (as Lawguy suggests) or 8 cups would suit.
5 cups would be "I screwed up, I'm so sorry! I miss you! Please come back!" Very powerful, very much the person regretting whatever he/she's done to cause the split. This is very much an anguished "miss you!"--the person sobbing at night over the loss.
6 cups would suggest a nostolgic "miss you" --that greeting card thing of "I'm thinking of you, and I miss you..." This is where you bite into a cookie and remember a parent baking such cookies, or you see a movie on t.v. and you remember the great time you had going to that movie with all your friends, or you smell a perfume and it reminds you of your loving grandmama. You get a warm nostolgic feeling, you miss the person, miss old times. This is the card that has you calling them up, reminising, or has you making plane reservations so you can bake those cookies again, maybe take in a movie, stay up the night long talking, just like you use to.
8 cups would be "I'm doing what I have to do, but gosh, I miss ya!" This is the person who knew they had to take that new job a thousand miles away, or go on that trip or climb that mountain. And they don't regret it...but there's still an ache in their heart for what they left behind. They're following their dream, but that doesn't mean they don't miss ya something awful. This is the postcard or letter "miss you!"--"here's what I'm doing, wish I could split in two so I could be there with you as well as here doing what I'm doing."
