I recently observed the magician, the king of cups, and a few others of the universal waite deck in a mirror i have, and i got some interesting intuitions out of it. I understand that the Waite deck reverses some symbolisim from teh wirth deck so i'm curious how this relates to the mirror immages since not everything is reversed as well as how the mirror can enhance a reading with cards that are not always readable.

You'll have to educate me here. What on earth is 'mirrorwork?'

take the king of cups for example, he wears a ring on his righ thand, in tehmirror its in his left. the hand in which he holds the cup is oppposite asme with the scepture. teh general symbolsim is upright but reveresed. the same is true with his feet. in the card he is ready to place his right foot in first, the right foot is that of projective energies whereas the left is receptive. in the mirror he is ready to pupt his left foot in teh water, as if to test it. the strongest intuitin is the directino in which the king faces and where he is looking.
The magician is another excellent example, with the table on the oppisite sid eof the card, the reversal of what hand is dong what, and the direction in which the snake coills around his waist. sicne the symbolsism is failry symetrical save what was menitoned, thsi card changes but remains teh same. It does create a different feeling in teh mirror though, like a hidden meaning.
Mirror work is basically meditiaton or spiritual exercises with a mirror.

Most "magic"and "spell" workbooks will usually refer to scrying in a mirror, this is essentially mirrorwork. when you buy any of these types of books, just take a glance through the pages and index to see if mirrors are referred to.

I have always loved the fact that the Tarot mirrors our souls....
