Hello once again! I would like to ask something related to cards significance: Can i just look at a card and use what it teels me by looking at the picture itself?? That is... Can i give the card my own prespective or should i follow the major significants that normaly are attached to it? Since i´ll begin my studies i would like to know your opinion for i feel that somehow each reader has a kind of feeling towards the pictures itself... Hi Little Orange, The cards will start speaking to you, and you will soon find that you can communicate with them in your own special way. It just takes some time to get used to actually listening to what the cards are saying. Soon you will find certain patterns recurring for certain situations. Maintain a journal for what cards show up and when. You will find that some of these will match the keywords that are usually associated with them. At other times they won't and this is where your intuition will provide you with the answer. Hope this is useful.

When we are starting, we hear 3000 rules about tarot: have to read with a given deck, can't read on saturdays/sundays/whatever, must have a cloth on the table, must have music, etc. The thing is, about 60 to 70% of as reading is based on intuition. And, like kundalika said, many times what we feel about a card ends up to be at least one of the meanings given by books. Don't worry, tarot is based on experimentation and it has to be fun, or else it wouldn't have so many "followers". Academic knowledge is necessary, but it must not be folloed word by word. Anjo
