9 of Coins

I have a question about 9 of Coins. I did a reading once for my friend where she asked about her love life and if she would find a true love in the fututre. The last card, which was a result at the same time, was 9 of coins. And here's my question...can this mean that she will be successful in life but she might not find anyone who she will share her life with? Thanks for any help :) Blessings, Agathe

I don't think that is really the case, 9 of Pentacles I see as someone who is in tune with themselves, that they have worked hard and take a lot of satisfaction and enjoyment from what they have earned through their accomplishments. She likes who and what she is and is complete within herself. It doesn't mean she won't have or isn't in a relationship, but that she knows herself and isn't dependant on her relationships for her sense of identity or worth or subsistence. She is an independant woman So maybe the message of this card is to be self fullfilled and love yourself for who you are and then she will be in a position to give and recieve love from another? Could you post the rest of the reading please, that would help a lot? I havent' gotten the art of timings down, but with the 9 and the Pentacles, it could be something with the astrological correspondences. Maybe in September sometime? Hi WalesWoman :) That was 5 cards spread reading. 1.Distant Past- 10 of cups 2.Immediate Past-Knight of swords rx 3.the sentral problem-Sun rx 4.present obstacles-lovers rx 5.ultimate result-9 of coins My first thought was, and this was what I told her, that the 9 of coins was about love, peace, harmony, warmth. I see this card as a VERY positive. And then I read in one book that its meaning may be as I said before. That this woman on the card has everything and that was her main goal in life. One thing she regrets is that now she is alone. That's why I started wondering what people think of this card. Thanks, Agathe

9 coins represents gain. In the case of relationships, it would be the gain of self-independence, and from there gain of relationship. I agree, there is a great deal of lonliness in that rw picture. In relation to the reading, she holds the key to her future, it just depends on which door the key goes to.
