I looked this word up in the dictionary, but alas no there....
Is this word foreign?
Is this word made up?
What does it mean and where does it come from (excuse my ignorance if it is really obvious)
It does have 'taro' in it so I am thinking it has something to do with the tarot.
Please help, this word will stay in my head until I have a meaning!
Oh, and pronunciation would br great as well :)
Many thanks in advance XTAX

There is a wonderful thread called Origin of the word 'Tarot' which is totally relevant...
Basically, 'tarocchi' seems to be Italian for 'Tarot'.
It should also be noted that some individuals seem to use this Italian form for the game. However, 'Tarot' is also used as a name for the game - the former Italian, the latter French.
I tend to use the word 'tarot' to refer to all its forms, game or our more familiar and iconographically ladden deck :)

Silly me, I did read that thread...
So the pronunciation would be:
ta-roec-hee, or something like that??
I should have known you would have the answer, jmd :)
