If I use the number 10 as
"the world evolves around this energy" would it be safe to say ;
when 10 of any suit is showing that the change will effect the client personally, like a lesson learned & earned.
e.g. if someone had the 10 of swords that the change of ideas will effect the client personally as moving past a lesson.
10 of wands, the shift in energy will effect the client personally as moving past a lesson.
If the card is reversed it would not be acknowledged so personally.
This is just an idea I came up with. The 10's in a suit would be personal lessons.
Yes or no?
Thanks for any replys.

Hello Ros,
Just a couple of comments -
I don't think that things need always be *lessons*. 10 might simply signify completion or progression to another level.
Also, things may not always be personal. This would depend very much on the context of the reading. The issue may relate to something a little broader.
I guess you make a judgment that something is a lesson or personal, no?
However, I wonder how a reversal would necessarily mean that something was not personal. It might very much depend on the question and the other cards.
It is difficult to answer the question in the absence of context. :) I am a little slow today, however.
Many blessings

Participants of this thread are very gently reminded to keep personal conversations, or conversations which apply to only one person to pm's.

firemaiden.............
Thanks for the gentle reminder. I thought we were discussing the post :(
I asked whether I had missed something in the post ....ah....perhaps it is too early in the morning....?
If there are only two participants in the thread, does it then become purely apersonal conversation?
Delete my comments if you wish :)
Many blessings

Well in that case I'll jump in and broaden the conversation :)
I always feel the 10's represent culmination NOT neccessarily completion ... a point in which the final cliffhanger is reached, like the novel where things have built, plot twist after plot twist until all twists join, ready for the explosive ending.
Somewhat like the Wheel, who is the author, and only they know for certain how it ends :)
Just some thoughts

In the Robyn Wood tarot, for one, it seems like the 10s are "all you can bear"--the swords in the back, the heavy load of wands, the happy family in cups, and even all the pentacles in the community scene--a full load, which may be good, or not.

All the illustrated decks seem to show some kind of denouement with the 10's. I guess this can be personal or other wise depending on the story.
It is indeed interesting to see how each deck is coherent in telling the story. Some of them are better than others. I guess some don't even tell a story - they simply provide milestones along the way.
Was it Allibee's analogy to the Wheel of Fortune? The circle 1 to 10 goes imexorably around and around. Ten does provide some kind of boundary or culmination, though..
