A person can overcome anything with the right intent behind them. Doesn't matter if someone's trying to disrupt his ability, as soon as he knows the potential is there, he can determine that it won't affect him--he only needs to decide that it won't & it won't.
If the reading is overall good, tell him so & make sure he stays focused on his goals to keep it so.

Knowledge, what do you mean "the evil eye?" You don't mean that literally, do you, and if so, what cards did you interpret that from?

what do you make of this?

(Just BTW, maybe this should be moved to the Your Readings section of the forum.)
That he should be careful when he talks? Was it a Sword card that came up? Perhaps it would be easier for us to help you if you posted your spread....the cards and what position they fell in.
Just based off a combination of Judgement and the 9 and 10 of Wands, however, it seems to me that perhaps your friend's new career will involve increased responsibilities. Perhaps he will find he won't have time to do what he'd like to anymore; perhaps he will end up feeling like he's shouldering an extra load, like he's doing more than his fair share. The 10 of Wands to me is the card of being overworked. Judgement could show he'd liked to be purged of these duties, start out with something new.
As for the 9, perhaps your friend has had an unstable job condition in the past, so he's constantly looking over his back and reflecting on his past diffiulties, and this is what gives him resolve to keep pushing on.
Again, I don't know what positions these cards fell in so this is jsut a guess. But I hope it helps.
