I need help with this card, please.
- new vision
- moving on
- bring light to the lack of truth or to what has been hidded
- doors from the past open
- truth of matter brings peace of mind
- face what you have to face & move on
- dealing with our own skeletons
- prayers answered
- coming to an end of a cycle
- resolving issues
I think I understand this card but I haven't got the uh-hu feeling yet.
Thanks for any replys.

My uh-ha moment with Judgement was reading the words "release and transformation."
For me that really says it all.

I like these thoughts and tend to think the Judgement can be a surface card or one that you can go very far into.
Like the High Priestess, I find her to be a very deep card, if you want her to be....
I think I can get blocked with this card due to its biblical connotations, the angel above always reminds me of
'And the angels from above heralded their trumpets and thus signalled an awakening, a message from God'
Or something like that (please note that I realise that is not a true Bible passage, and do not wish to offend any Christians...)
It's just that when I am reading for someone, they might not understand the card in that the same way :) XTAX

In getting this card, I think of "serious evaluation time" more than a Biblical judgment. Evaluate where you've been, especially at the end of a big project/cycle.
In the Robin Wood deck, the figure rises up, too, but there's a phoenix behind her--the cycle has ended and a new one begins. I like the "renewed energy" of that card, which can come right after the evaluation, perhaps.

I've found on one of my cards also
"peace in your heart after cosmic balancing of the books"

The Death card could be fate intervening, or an internal decision to do something different from that point on, but usually the changes come from outside the person and are imposed on you.
The Tower card is massive change altering a life, usually from outside your control (but not always).
The Judgment card to me is an internal finding that your life now IS going in a different way, that what was lived before has shifted enough to put you on a new path with new & higher goals. It's not about outside influences. I feel it's much more about inner shiftings. Judgment isn't done TO you, it's done IN you, resulting in a realization that goes to your core.

For me Judgement is the rising up out of the havoc of the Tower or Death. The Robin Wood deck shows a woman with wings rising up out of the fire like a Phoenix.
When I was much younger I went through a long bout of depression--almost a year. Then suddenly somthing shifted and I somehow came up out of it. That's what Judgement is to me. Not just a new beginning, but a huge new shift of life.

Human 'Justice' is relative and socially functional.
Divine 'Judgement' is absolute and spiritually imperative; reject evil, submit to the good.

Judgement is liberation. The end of something that has troubled you. Fixing problems.
When Judgment apears, the situation needs a serious examination. One should think about what is the real problem, accept what was wrong and right so far, and work a solution to fix all what is needed prior to close the issue. After comes relief and freedom.
Is a card about taking action. You cant wait and expect everything will change without doing nothing. Is you who has to make the work and the effort to accept the truth and face the reality.
