Does any one Believe you could meet your soulmate through the Tarot cards?

Star Spirit  17 Mar 2004
Interesting question...I met mine online, we've been together for years. I suppose it would be interesting if there were a soul mates spread or something, and you asked the cards what your soul mate would be like, how they would look, act, where you might find them, etc. It's worth a try ;)

Kath  17 Mar 2004
Sure, why not? If you can meet your soulmate online, or in a bookshop, or by the swimming pool, why not through tarot.

Let me know how you go... I’m in the market for a soul mate :D

I don't see why the tarot couldn't be a tool to meet a soulmate, or show the way to meet our soulmate. I too met mine online, not using the tarot, and we've been together for many years...but the tarot cards did indicate/confirm that we indeed were soulmates...

I believe you could meet your soulmate in a trash dumpster.

If you are to meet him or her, it could be over a wicked pack of cards or a packed wicked bar. You met, you connected. Say it was meant to be, however it occurs.

I met my soul mate over the Net too. I don't see why you can't meet him/her through the Tarot. :)

Meeting your soulmate through tarot is as good as option as any - you never know where they will turn up ;)

I didn't actually meet my soulmate through tarot - as we had been friends and work colleagues for a few years - but tarot made me more "aware" of him. To try and explain:

When I first started on my tarot journey, I used to take my cards into work on a Friday afternoon and practice on willing people. I did a reading (for my now husband) - who was just a friend at the time - and basically in the reading "my Queen card" turned up in a very interesting position in the spread (with other card combinations - Lovers, Two of Cups etc) and the first thing I thought of was instead of a lady will come into your life - was "that's my card - that's me!" ). Never told him at the time that it was "my" card and just let time and nature take its course - but it was always in the back of my mind as our relationship progressed and I guess it made me more aware of the natural attraction between us :)

A few years later, once we had got together, I told him - I actually think it scared him a bit as he has only ever had me do one more reading for him in the 10 years LOL

Good luck to all in finding their soul mate/s.

What a GREAT story, CF!!!

Thanks for sharing that....*goosebumps*

Not only was it "meant to be" for the two of you (as the cards were telling you), but sharing your story here gives all of us "singles" some hope....:D

i think there's a spread for soulmate. check out tarotspreads.com and look for annakin soulmate spread. that is a five card spread. in my case, the cards says that the person is already in my life. question, is it possible for us to have a soulmate of the same gender??? my soulmate and i have the same gender...

cards in general- sure.
One can ask if the person they like or are with is their soul-mate.
But keep in mind- we have several through our lifetime and not all become intimate relationships.

I am with a soulmate- and it was a deck of playing cards that said so.
I was at work {bar} and a guy came in, it was slow, he was the only one there so we talked for a while.
He was quite interesting. He returned a week later. Once again, during a slow time. I had been playing solitair so I had a warmed deck in my hands when he came in. A thought went through my mind to "test" the situation. I continued to hold the cards as we chatted. A regular customer came in and I set the deck on the bar infront of the two of them. Served a beer and then listened to the ramblings of this regular. This guy-heehee- cut the deck into two piles while I listened to the other guy babble away.
He then turned over a card from the stack farthest from him, closer to me, it was the King of Spades. He then tapped the other stack and pointed to me. While I listend to this other guy still, I reached over and turned the top card over. It was the Queen of Spades.

What a hopelessly romantic hope, to meet your soulmate through tarot. I'm always game for a little fun... anyone want to exchange readings on soul mates?

I thought that was a funny spread because all the questions are yes or no questions -- "is this person in my life right now" and the last question "will I believe"

But it is a good spread, you just have to re-write the questions.

lunaley - thanks for sharing your wonderful story! :) Love hearing about others special moments like these with the cards and people.

Also agree with you regards that you can several soulmates during your life and they may not all be intimate relationships. I also believe extra special lifetime friends can come under the soulmate category as well and you can be lucky enough to have one or two of these in your life as well. ;)

I personally have never been clear on just what (exactly) a soulmate is supposed to be.

Maybe if I met one, I would understand :D

(lunalefey btw, that was a great story--are you sure there was no sleight-of-hand on his part!?!)

hmm
ive been using tarot for years and im still not comfy in using the cards to answer my own questions. This like how will i meet my soul mate etc etc are just WAY to scary for me, probably because i REALLY want to know lol.
Why am i being so superstitious about tarot reading for me? I'm Pagan for crying out loud! NewAge hippy! Deary me lol

Course, because im a i-wont-read-my-own-tarot gimp, doesnt mean other cant!!

Soul mates can meet you any way the divine makes you meet - internet, buying fastfood, tarot, u name it! lol

I think of a "soulmate" as someone that you have already connected with long before you actually met them...which doesn't make a lot of sense when you say it out loud!

It is an unmistakable feeling in your gut and in your soul...that you've met someplace before, even though you know you haven't. And the more time you spend getting to know your soulmate, the stronger the feeling of deja vu....

Those are just my thoughts and opinions...and I am sure there are many others out there.

I also believe that your soulmate can be, and often is, a platonic friendship...it doesn't have to be a romantic type of relationship....

Well Lunakasha, I have certainly felt this way before upon meeting one person in particular, when I was about 18 . . . trouble is, he seemed to put the most negative possible spin on it (he HATED me--with a passion that seemed to come from the same irrational place as my 'knowing'/recognizing him . . . ) I've always chalked this up to weird karma from a previous lifetime. So then, I guess, the term 'soulmate' could simply mean someone significant in more lifetimes than one--??? --Am I way off base with that???

Hi punchinella!

I think this is definitely a possibility....it really depends upon your belief systems. Personally, I believe that we do live more than one lifetime, and that when you do meet a "soulmate" it is very much a possibility that you knew each other before, in a previous life. Of course we have no way of really proving any of these theories, which is why I say that I am only sharing my personal opinion, based upon what I believe....

The situation you describe is interesting...I think the same theory would hold true even when you experience a very strong "negative" reaction to someone you've just met.... the connection is still there, and is obviously very powerful!!!

Interesting question to think about....I think I have only encountered two or three soulmates in my life, and only one was a romantic relationship...but all were very positive and came at a time in my life when I really needed them.
