I don't know how many of you out here have children, but I have 2 boys. My youngest one loves to watch and participate in my readings. I let him shuffle and deal and ask his questions. I let him read his own cards -- he really likes it and he is so creative anyway.... During a reading the other morning, he asked me if there was a card for him. I told him when I see the Page of Cups I think of him. He told that wasn't him and carefully scanned all of the cards until he came to the 4 of Swords.... He said "this card is me!" See the man, he is happy, not jumping around happy but inside happy and quiet. He has lots of swords to protect him and keep him safe, he isn't sleeping but like remembering a dream first thing in the morning and see he is covered all over in gold. This card is me! This card makes me feel good." So, now when I see the four of swords I think of my four year old -- a new twist on a old symbol for me.

That was so beautiful...
I'm writing that one down in my notebook.
Out of the mouths of babes.

Excellent! He's going to be a very talented reader himself one day!

A very beautiful interpretation of the four of swords! Let us know if he comes up with any interps for the other cards!

What lovely insight your son has, and how lucky he is to have a parent who encourages it. Kudos and warm wishes to both of you.
