Hello tarot enthusiasts...
I am writing an article for my school newspaper on the subject of tarot (neat, eh?). Anyway, since a lot of you are professional readers/extensively knowledgable about tarot, I am wondering if any of you would be willing to:
(a) Let me take a quote or two from your posts (don't worry... I would of course PM you what I would plan to publish, and make sure I am citing your name/profession correctly)
or
(b) Let me conduct an interview by e-mail with you.
The latter would be prefferable of course, but I'm really just looking for as many other sources as I can get!
Even though I doubt many people will want to do this, don't feel like just because other people have posted replies that I won't want to interview you, too! Like I said, I'd like to get as many ideas from as many people as possible :)
Thanks so much for helping me! The deadline's pretty soon, so post a response as soon as you can...

I have a feeling most of the people here would be amenable to an interview with a sympathetic writer. Perhaps you could consider who you'd want to interview and approach them directly, via a PM.

Hey Aerten,
I think that's a great idea! Is it okay with your school? I just hope it doesn't cause too much conflict for you. Aside from that, I think it's wonderful and I'd love to help you, if you wanted me to :) Just let me know.

By all means, PM any of us--or any number of us, with questions for your articles or if you like something we wrote and would like to quote it. It's very flattering that you want to interview us on Tarot. We do have some really brilliant and knowledgable people here, as you can see, including several with vast historical knowledge and those in the process of creating their own decks--thus seeing the tarot from the creator side as well as the reader side. I think the hardest thing for you will be narrowing your focus and winnowing down the number of quotes.
Maybe a 3-part article :D I'm sure anyone you ask will be delighted to help.

I'm surprised that a school system would be as tolerant to allow a report on Tarot, especially considering the tremendous mis-education and bias that exists within the mainstream Christian community in the US.
Sure, go ahead and PM away. I would definitely talk to Thirteen though, especially about the psychological aspect of the symbolism within Tarot.

Ohh, thanks for the advice and support, everyone :)
I go to quite a liberal school, so no one really has a problem with it. In fact, it will really be quite tame compared to some of the things we've had in that paper.
Well, I guess Rota has it... I'll PM some of you as soon as I can get around to it (heavy workload this weekend!).
Thanks again!
