When asking questions as relates to an ex who I am trying to 'help' (very complicated) I am getting the Queen of Wands and the Queen of Swords both reversed when asking similiar questions as it relates to this person? After looking at the meanings of these cards reversed I think I know the person involved because they seem to have those attributes however is it possible that the cards are talking about the same person or is it likely there are two seperate people involved?

I don't see why the same person couldn't be represented by more than one card.

I agree with Rusty, it just shows their multi-faceted personality. XTAX

Or it could show that their current personality and behaviour is a combination of the two cards. There's nothing saying that any given situation must slot nicely into just one card.

it just shows their multi-faceted personality Reminds me of a favorite movie quote:
Angela Lansbury to Elizabeth Taylor in Agatha Christie's The Mirror Crack'd: "Honey, there are just two things I don't like about you.... ...your face

Yes...they are both probably her. I usually have the Queen of wands represent me but Ive also had The Queen of Cups and the Queen of Pentacles represent me also in readings.

Those two cards reversed and together is horrible :( Especially since they are seemingly appearing in the past, present and future of some of my questions.

Not necessarily horrible. Their energy may be blocked or diffused. It could point to the fact that she's got issues she's not dealing with or in denial about. The Queen of Swords is a woman who calls it like she sees it -- maybe this is something your friend is afraid to do, so she soft-pedals everything or refuses to speak her mind. The Queen of Wands is strong and confident, happy and loves life. Reversed, this could point to depression, low self-esteem, shyness, or even impaired physical health. There are functional and dysfunctional aspects to every card, both upright and reversed.
