I don't get it.
Would someone explain the missing star or blazing star for me?
Is this for all decks?

The Star is a peculiar card. I can't say I have ever really got fully to grips with it. I used to see it as the end of the line, the final stage before the open sea...before I encounted decks beyond my TotOP!
Now I need to work harder for understanding.

I did several searches because it seems like there was a thread about a star missing from the Empresses' crown or someones crown and had no luck tracking it down. I'd never heard of a blazing star in reference to Tarot until now. So does this become a Tarot Who-Dunnit? Who's missing a Star? Where'd it go? Who has one? Are they popping up in mysterious places, like the 2 of Swords?
Darn it Ros, now I'm going to have to go through each of my cards and do a Where's Waldo only with Stars!

I'm not sure to what you are referring to with reference to the 'missing' Star, so it could be in relation to a particular thread or specific deck...
With regards to the 'Blazing Star', this is often a Masonic term applied to either a five-pointed or six-pointed star usually located centrally upon the mosaic pavement - though it does vary from constitution to consitution.
In that sense, the Blazing Star has little to do with XVII the Star.

I thought this was just a question everyone knew but me. lol
It was a long time ago but I think it was either RWS or Thoth. There was a missing star from one of the crowns, either the Empress or the Chariot & showed up as the Star card.
I think it was the 5 pointed or it could be the eight stars in the Star card.
When I got lots of time I'm going to go through the threads & find it.
Thanks for replys.
