Hi All,
I am a Wands and Swords person.
Whenever I have a reading, the wands and swords are always there.
I had an interesting reading last week.
I had a question about my future, whether I should go into a secure computer job or exciting energy healing profession.
When my friend spread the cards I had the wands card from 1 - 9 except the number 7 card. Well, even for a wand guy like me that seemed a little too much. Both of us could not interpret the meaning of this.
I dont remember the exact positions, but they were scattered all over the spread.
Does anyone has any information or guesses about this.
Thanks,
RK

Just an extra idea here-
mabee you should focus on the 7 of wands & what it means to you.

Nice idea from Ros there.
A couple of things come to mind. My first response is to go with the "exciting energy healing" profession. It seems clear even from your description that you find it more interesting, intreguing and more to your taste--even if it's not secure.
My second response, however is that you're going to take the energy healing job and end up as that 9/wands...holding fast through sheer obstancy even though you've nothing left to give.
That's not good. Let me put it another way--if you go into this enery healing (and you seem to very much want to), you'll be jazzed, excited and focused. You'll give it your all and have a lot of fun doing that in the beginning--you'll get very high at the things you accomplish along the way, burn hotter and hotter--but you'll also become so obsessed, so like a missionary on a mission, that you will burn yourself up, burn yourself out.
Does this mean you should take the computer job? No. What it means that when you go for that exciting energy healing job, you need to find Pentacles and Cups to keep yourself grounded and cool. You can't let your passion, excitement and spirituality control you in this, much as you'd like to.
Energy healing is very spiritual. So one thing you need to do is study up on MUNDANE healing, medicine that is grounded, and real and NOT spiritual or magical--but very PENTACLES, very SOLID. Anatomy and how to do basic first aid and all that other stuff which all too many practitioners of alternative medicine toss out the window, relying purely on the spiritual angle. This will keep the energy healing in perspective for you.
So, instead of seeing a person with a sprained ankle and thinking "Healing Energy!" you'll step back and say, "ice and an ace bandage." This will keep you from becoming a missionary, from being blinded to anything outside of your mission.
In addition, you need to study up on psychology and being empathic. Spiritual healers can sometimes be callus, shouting, "You do not have faith in my healing power and that's why you are still sick!" Thus, blaming the victim for their failure to heal. So as you go into this, you also need to learn the lesson of CUPS, of understanding people, of sympathizing with them and their pain, of knowing when it may be time to talk, hold their hand, give them a hug--rather than just "heal" their evident ills.
This will cool your zeal and keep you from burning yourself out. Put it another way--it will keep you from shouting all the time. You'll learn that there are times to talk softly, and thus, you'll spare your voice, not kill it.
This is what I'm getting from this preponderence of wands--go for the energy healing, it's obviously calling to you...but make sure you have rocks to bank that fire (pentacles) and water to splash on it if it begins to burn too hot (cups), or you will lose all the warmth and joy you gain from this unique job.

What a great interpretation once again by thirteen. Also having all the wands except 7 wands, the 7 being that of introspection and self healing and reflection. It would suggest to me that you would leave yourself out, and burn out for sure.
I used to do healing work years ago, and I did what thirteen had pointed out. Making it a mission to heal others. As healers we're there to balance, and then it's up to the healee to heal themself. Even the greatest healer can not heal another if they don't want too.
You obviously have very strong healing energy to get all the wands. So what Ros said about why you didn't get the 7 is a very significant point.
Your challenge won't be in the ones needing the healing, it will be yourself!

Thanks for all your valuable suggestions.
I am learning Homeopathy from a reputed homeopath. So, that helps me in learning more about psychology of people and the cause and effects of diseases & disorders with relationship to human behavior and life style.
I have a lot to learn about being empathetic.
Thank you very much Thirteen for suggesting the Anatomy class. Even I feel that l need to learn more about it.
As Ros & Phoenix Rising said, I am looking at what the 7 of wands mean to me but the number of wands in the reading overwhelmed me.
I have already started learning my lessons in trying not to heal others more than the person desires. It is a hard lesson but I am coming into terms with it.
Once again thank you very much for all your insights.

it makes me think that the changes that you will manifest, will lead to great growth....
I do love how interpretation is in the eye of the beholder, and hence so many wonderful different sights...
