Symbolizing: The Wheel of Fortune
And on our 3 weekly threads continue, examining the symbolism in the Majors. What you like and what you don't. What you feel ought to be there...or not.
For this thread, the Wheel of Fortune. Just answer one or more of the following:
1) What elements from any WoF card from any deck do you feel BEST symbolize the WoF? (Example: "I've always loved the sphinx at the top of the wheel.")
2) What elements common to most WoF cards in most decks do you really feel are all WRONG for the WoF? (Example: "I've NEVER liked that Sphinx at the top.")
3) What symbol have you always felt was right for the WoF Card, but you've yet to see it? (Example: "I'd like to see a modern-day car tire instead of an old wagon wheel").
You don't have to answer all the above, but do offer some "why's?" as to what you answer. Why don't you/do you like the sphinx? What do the various animals in most WoF cards mean that they feel/don't feel like the WoF card to you?

I really do like the hand in the middle of the Wheel of Fortune in the Haindl deck.

It really gets a message across that your fate is constantly changing. You can almost picture the hand spinning the wheel to see where it lands! Brilliant!
