I have the Thoth deck, as some may already know...
So anyway... I have a new found appreciation for it and I'll probably buy the large thoth and give my small one to someone. I'm still flabergasted that nobody wants my other two decks. I just dont see why they wouldnt enjoy them... In fact I've studied my decks and the meanings enough that I dont really need an actual deck anymore I can use a 52 pack.
Anyway...
This is old news but I never noticed this before.
If you get say... a two of cups. It means that the three of cups WILL follow. It represents a time where there may be too much emotion to share with just your partner or that it will manifest itself in other areas of your life. The three of cups could mean a time to have children and share this love with them aswell. Then you might get the 4 of cups and you wish you were somewhere else. This could cause pain for the family or could be expressed in a new job or some other method....
Do you see what I mean?
It's as if through understanding that these cards follow one another, and that once a task is completed such as getting the world card, you return to the fool to go through your spiritual journey once more. More than that though... I feel that if I see myself getting the two of cups, it tells me it may be wise to prepare for the innevetible 3 of cups when it will arrive and to express these feelings and changes in positive ways.
I'm curious what you think about this.

Since you mention a deck which also specifically 'incorporates' astrological correlations, it may be worth considering which also follows which along the circumference of the wheel of the zodiac - in decanates (every ten degrees) - and of course assuming you adopt those correlations (which I generally do NOT).
For example, starting from Aries, every ten degrees is by those who adopt such a system allocated a card from two through to ten placed in order (forget the suits for now), and again repeated (2-10) thrice, in order for all four suit pips to be so placed around the circle (excluding Aces).
The suit will be determined by the elemental correlation of the sign against which the number finds itself.
The two Cups is, in that system, correlated or found with the first decan of Cancer, which will indeed be followed by the three and the four Cups... but is then followed by the five found in the first decan of Leo - a Fire sign, and hence a suit change ('Wands' in the deck you mention - otherwise Swords if you decide to correlate Fire to Swords).
This is not to undo what you present - quite the contrary. A two Cups is indeed followed, within the deck, by the three, then four, then five (etc) of the corresponding suit.
In a reading, however, the movement of change may take various directions, usually indicated by surrounding cards - or indeed maybe illustrated within the card itself, without needing to refer to another card which one would normally consider as its subsequent one within the series.
The suits, in order, do however have much to offer for reflection, and would personally also encourage what you have just presented :)

I think I understand what people talk about now when they say the Thoth is the deck you study for life...
I noticed the astrological signs like Cancer etc...
Arent the signs of the planets on them aswell or are those the same? I would very much like to get a book that goes into this deck with great detail I heard the latest one on the market is the best if you find the Book of Thoth goes over your head.
Not including ofcourse the tree of life which links the major arcana together and other cards etc...
