Some of you may already do this but its a new one on me.
In the devination threads, I have been discussing other sides of me, predictions etc that come through dreams.
As a new twist on the daily card, I thought that I would think about what I needed at the moment and where any problems I have might lie and how to work with them. I thought about this as I shuffled, and intuitively guessed the card.
I turned it over and yes, I was correct. The 4 of Swords.
And yes, I was surprised, which is why I have written here about it.
Of course, it will not always be the one that I think of but thought this was a good way to read my daily cards. If I do guess it then it would hold an extra weight in the message. If I don't then the two cards are there to compare and show me where I might be going wrong and what I have to do to change situations; kind of like 'you think this is the problem, but THIS is where it is really at ... think about how you can get to the real issues from where you are'. Possibly, they could also strengthen each other or show some kind of natural path with a gap in the middle that needs to worked on.
Antone do this????

Fabulous idea, and another great show of proof of the power of ...what, synchronicity? the Universe? I love this stuff, and don't believe in coincidence.
Maybe I'll try this!

This morning I responded to a thread where I was asked to pull a card think of a keyword in secret then they would do a reading. I thought about it a while...should I select a card...perhaps my favorite card since I have such a connection with it....then I decided to just go with the random pull and voila the card I was thinking about. Amazing.
I love the idea of doing a comparison if the card you pull is not the one you were thinking about. Excellent idea.
