I just know this is a stupid question - but what does LWB stand for? It seems to be in reference to the small booklets that come with a new pack of cards.....so all I could come up with is "Little White Booklet". Am I even close?

Yes, not only are you close, you're dead on. LWB is the little white booklet (sometimes more voluminous, and sometimes colours other than white, and sometimes leaflets rather than booklets) that comes complimentary with the deck.

It sure beats typing it out the long way, each time.

I'm so glad you asked the question Colleilin, I was too embarrased to admit that I wanted to know too :D

That is funny, I thought LWB stood for Leave With Box......because that is where I always leave the Little Worthless Book. :D

Well, not so fast... SOME of the LWBs are real bad, but some others may bring valuable information... like the one that comes with the new large Thoth deck (green box) for instance.
Obviously though, LWBs are not supposed to be your main reference.

Mostly I would LEAVE the LWB alone. I always cite Raymond Buckland's advice: read it once or twice then throw it away. But when reading for oneself, it helps to use the LWB. That way you can't escape the meaning of the reading.
