Dumb King! What's s/he trying to say?
Yesterday when I did 3-card readings on three different astrologers to choose one to do a solar return, the shadow card of each reading was the KS Rx. I decided I'd better take a close look at each candidate, but it was late and I went to bed. Thought I'd do it in the morning.
This morning I did a 3-card, 'what's the day going to bring' reading. The KS jumped out as I was shuffling. Landed in an Rx position.
I'm considering the idea that I need to be aware of KS Rx energy in my whole day. So far, none's turned up. (4 p.m. in the afternoon.) I do intend to attend a meeting this evening. Now I'll worry the whole evening.
Any suggestions?

RedEmma: How did the meeting go?
The repetitive King-Swords, reversed, would certainly grab the attention but perhaps the accompanying cards need to be looked at to read King-Swords within context.
By itself would depend on the nature of the inquiry or subject. Can see it meaning a negation such as: no; not this, non-logical or illogical; non-intelligible; non-sense, etc.
Or an emphasis on the opposite or the extreme of the qualities King-Swords represents. Lack of understanding or clarity. Overly critical; over-thinking (as to result in confusion).

He can also be emotionless and pretty gosh darn bossy.

Perhaps the Deck is asking for a rest or some restorative energy? Sometime repetitive cards can be the Deck's way of asking for cleansing, refreshing--or a way of saying, "I'm tired of that question!" ;)
A KS rx would be one of those cards that would indicate to me either:
1) A deck saying that communications have broken down--it can't offer you any good answers/judgements until it either gets a rest, better questions or some cleansing (a really good reshuffle?).
OR
2) A warning of bad judgement or lack of logic on your part or someone elses. I'd watch out for legal impediments or problems. And I'd be especially careful about any paperwork I was filling out. I'd make double sure that it was not only right, but really clear to the idiots reading it.
In the second instance, I'd say that the communication/legal problem won't come from you--but rather that some careless underling making a mistake. You need to check and double check, otherwise this underling will tell a superior that the paperwork wasn't filled out--or wasn't filled out right, when it was.

While I agree with the sentiment that you should be on the lookout for anything that doesn't quite "sit right" with you, it may also be a statement saying that you should stop looking far away for an answer you're already aware of.
Or even that you should let something go, this "battle" is not for you to take care of.
This being because for me the King of Swords indicates both knowledge, logic and taking a stand knowing that you are right in whatever the matter relates to.
So reversed it could be an indication that this is just not your battle to take. You could be pushing it a little too hard..
Or, maybe you should find a fourth candidate for that solar return since none of them are really right for it?

To me, the King of Swords Rx is not knowing where you stand or maybe, refusing to take a stand. The King up stands four square. Very sure of himself. Maybe the card is telling you that you need to just DECIDE, and stop worrying about what is the BEST way. Just make a choice and go with it. How long have you been fretting over these astrologers?
