these two seem very much alike, but i think that the knight of pents reversed is a mentally challenged individual, or someone who is sleeping, whereas the page pents reversed is just someone who is lazy or needs impitus to move. someone who is slow, and takes their time. but the knight pents reversed isnt moving at all. mentally or physically. the page pents is fast, but in the thralls of learning a set pattern, so he is slow for now.
waddaya say?

To me the Knight of Pents rx is a deserter he abandons his resposibitities and leaves us alone.
He sometimes withdraws from life out of fear and if you are around someone like that it can cause you to feel stalled and unable to grow.
He is also neglect...just plain doesn't do what he is supposed to and sometimes we are left to pick up his pieces.
The Page of Pents rx is an idler, a freeloader, he is dependant on you for his every need.
He has no enthusiasm or enegy for his job and spends the day just marking time.
At his very worst he is unwilling to work at all.
He is also inertia, someone who is unable to move because of fear, false beliefs, poor health, ect.
He can also represent skills that we don't have or are just developing.
I think we see some very similar things.

absolutely! ive met, and worked with several mentally challenged individuals, and all of them are knight pentsx. i think that the major difference between the two, is the fact that the knight has already undergone his first evolution from the pure page. this tells me that there is even less ability to grow and adapt. the knight pents is a big person... so are most of the people ive met.
there are differences, i suppose a reversed page could be the same thing, but smaller, maybe a little more adaptable. easier to direct, instead of not listening at all...
in fact, the knight pentsx is me, when i cant think of a clever retaliation to a remark from a rival....
what do you think, lark?

I've seen the Knight of Pentacles reversed shirking his duties, or neglecting everyday chores because of pure irresponsibility, but I've also seen him unable to attend to basic things like dressing himself, preparing his food, cleaning up, etc. because of a temporary injury to his body such as a broken bone.
The Page of Pentacles reversed would suggest to me a person afraid of manifesting themselves to the outside world. Perhaps they fear making a job change they feel would reflect more truly their identity. Maybe they fear making a change in their appearance. I see this page reversed as mulling over something...gestating... an idea that has not yet been made concrete.

that page is a pure procrastinator, alright. his reasons for being so, are debatable, just as the king of swords reasons are for his emotional shutdown.
just as the knight pentsx reasons for being invalid are his own. mental disability, fear, physical disability. it seems our biggest difference is the stage of life of the pent as well as that persons ability to do what needs to be done. the page has the ability, but not the inclination, the knight just cant do, whether he wants to or not. both have to be pushed and prodded to move...
