What does it mean when someone sees you as / and feels for you ace of swords??

Any ideas?

Keslynn  11 Nov 2004
They see you as a thinking person, someone who operates primarily on the mental level, rather than emotional. You might also seem a tad bit standoffish to them. However, the person realizes that they're only scratching the surface with that assessment. They realize that there is a lot more to you, but they're only seeing that one particular facet. Also, there seems to be a new aspect to your relationship. Either it's a new relationship or something has happened to change how they think about you/see you. There's a lot of opportunity there.

That's just off the top of my head. Sorry for the freeform thought flow.

I have to say this but the one thing me and my husband argue about is how "standoffish" I am generally (he wishes I was more emotional about things like normal women are!!!!)...I had to smile when I read your post!
Ace of swords is me definitly!

Is this a man? Does he feel that way towards you? Maybe the cards are being literal.

Yeeeeeeeeh your right earthlady...I can see your point! Man what would I do without you lot...my lwb says "intellect"...riiiight!

You know, this is a very special card to me.

If we leave off obsessing about swords being "air" and "intellectuality" (which always gets an unjustly bad rap on boards about spirituality), it is much more natural, in my mind, to associate this card with light-- and fire.

I like to see this card as a miniature version of the tower. There is a lot of power in it. The Ace of Swords moment, could be a mini tower moment, a good one, something I like to call "a knife of fire into ice" - a moment of shock when the voice of spirit slices through into mundane reality, or le coup de foudre =="love at first sight".

I liken this moment to what surrealist André Breton called the crack of light, L'éclair, the "Lichtspaltung" - it is a moment when there is a sudden crack in the clouds of earthly confusion, a sudden moment of "clarity" - of truth.

Anyhow, that is how I see the card, which is apparently not (now that I see what you have written) what your husband had in mind...

extreme force in love or hate, violence. figuratively speaking. what is your court? what court is you?

Chubby Mummy  16 Nov 2004
If I was to choose a court card to describe myself I would be the Queen of cups...

Chubby Mummy  16 Nov 2004
But then sometimes I go into phases where I am the King of Wands...I think it may have something to do with the fact that Im a leo star sign with cancer/aries in my planets...
