The 10 of each suit connects with the Major card The Wheel.
Page = 11 = Justice or Strength
Knight = 12 = The Hanged Man
Queen = 13 = Death
King = 14 = Temperance
Does this make sense to connect these court cards in this way?
I have never done this and just thought about this. duh, lol

This is the number correspondence system that Des Longchamps used in her book on the Tarot de Marseille. The cards Ace to Ten of each suit were matched to the correspondingly number trump card, while the courts were matched to the 11th to 14th trumps.

This seems like a rather random way to connect cards.. what about trump 14 to 21? The minor and major arcana developed independently so why would their numbers be connected? just curious.

That's a really intriguing idea, ros. Too bad I'm at work or I'd lay out the cards in rows to check it out!
The other cards mostly make sense to me, but the Knights associated with the Hanged Man seems a little odd. I guess you could see the Knights as trying to emerge from the stasis of the Hanged Man? Or maybe it shows how the Knights are out to turn the world upside down (so to speak)?

I guess you could see the Knights as trying to emerge from the stasis of the Hanged Man? Or maybe it shows how the Knights are out to turn the world upside down (so to speak)? Or it could show the self-sacrificial tendencies of the Knights (most emphatically in the Knight of Swords) who are ready to give their lives for their respective causes...
