I have recently done a spread on a man i like, and "how he really feels" turned out to be 8 of cups reveresed....Im not very good with my reversals, however, and would like to look a bit deeper into this card...
I have posted my spread in the readings forum, but not had much luck, as there have only been one response so far...(you're all very welcome to have a go, even if its one just one card that stands out to you thats screaming something out to you that you need to tell me...)
Its called a love spread ...
In the meantime, 8 of cups rx is a card im a bit baffled by...any ideas???

This is so weird -- the 8 of cups has come up in about three different spreads for me over the past 24 hours!! The thing is, I've been asking the same question about what (or if) I should do about someone I'm interested in (someone who has caused me a lot of anguish over the past couple of years), so I've been interpreting the card as it relates to me. Depending upon the card's position, it's been mostly positive -- signifying a strong desire to grow and change and experience happier times and more secure emotions/relations. This is hugely true for me -- I am determined to grow in my relationships (with or without this person), regardless of past hurt and issues related to the hurt.
I have also seen some interpretations -- depending upon the position -- that have to do with a fear of commitment, even coupled WITH the desire for something good. Either way, all the meanings I've come across have a little something to do with leaving past hurt behind and moving toward something better; taking responsibility for your emotions in any given situation.
Does that help at all? I can dig further in some of my texts...

The 8 of Cups reversed may mean he has overlooked you (or you him) in the past , but is now feeling there may be a second chance . On the other hand it may indicate he has ended a relationship and is not yet fully emotionally free from it. I would advise you to draw a clarifying card.

Thank you both...yes I did draw a clarification card and I got the magician rx! The 8 of cups rx fell in the position on how he *really* felt.

I haven't gone over to look at your whole spread yet I will later but sometimes 8 of cups rx can indicate a person has a fear of the unknown in the relationship, that they aren't ready to make a big change in their life yet.
Along with the magician rx it may indicate he is afraid to try new things and is a little unsure of himself and his feelings.
