Who is he!!!

He keeps on poping up in my readings. He comes up when i ask different questions about my spirituality on a celtic cross (he usually crowns me or is before me), i took him to mean my mind or my interlect. Im a very intuative person but i cant switch my brain off, i need anwers to every thing!!

Without fail, he appears in 80% of my readings (the ones i do for myself)

But........he came up in a reading about love. I asked will i find a new love soon? I got the sun, then i asked what sign will he be--KING OF SWORDs...its him again!!!! An older gemini! Hes always there with his heafty beard with shubbery round his neck and that big sword of his pointing to the sky (Morgan Greer)

Who or what is he!!!

Thanks

Not a very charming person and indeed he's really truly the King of Swords. Why? He has already began irritating you even before you've met. He is already doing his job. Relax and calm down. It's normal for us to seek for answers however, why pressurize yourself and allow him to torment you?

King of Swords as the beholder of communication. Look out for anything that irritates you in this span of time. A lesson could be waiting for you.

If he's appearing that often, perhaps you should look around you and see if he could possibly be someone you already know- someone who's perhaps important in your life right now, or someone who influences the ongoings of things happening in your life? Like a friend, a father, a brother, a boss...etc. Someone who may fit the bill of King of Swords in your mind. Meditate on the card- gather up your thoughts and feelings about the card and see if it strikes a chord at all.

Additionally, if he has appeared in a reading you did about love- maybe he's a possible love interest or someone who stands in the way of a new love coming in. The possibilties are many- depending on cards that surround him and who it can stand for in your life. Since you mentioned that he appears "before you" sometimes- maybe he hasn't made his appearance in your life yet!

Which deck do yo use? The actual picture of the king in your deck might give you some more clues. Are his arms folded or relaxed? Does he look belligerent? Determined? commanding? Authoritarian? Or simply tired after a day's defending the kingdom? Wht colours does he wear? Where is he looking? And how?

Is he an Aragorn or a petty tyrant?

The King of Swords can be someone great to have on one's side, after all.
Any possibility of posting a link to the card in question if the deck is not well-known?

Queen of Swords  02 Jan 2005
I believe she/he said the deck was Morgan Greer. :)

Queenofkingh  03 Jan 2005
When i see him come up in the reading i get a aggghh feeling, its kind of scary because he always there. Its the same thing is used to get with the world card (i kept on poping out for ages) but i smiled because i liked the look of the card. The king frightens me a bit because of the foliage near his beard, its coverd it green leaves, perhaps that means hes fertile, he looks more regal than the other kings.

-I asked Mr king of swords what/who do you represent in my life
8 of wands and Wheel of fortune

This is where im confused!! When i see the 8 of wands i see them the same way as the ace cards somthing coming from above (the cosmos, angels, guides, god or higher self). Wheel of fortune turning tides....Prays being answerd?

-What do you want me to know/what are you trying to tell me
The world & 6 of wands

Successfull completion of somthing/ succesful end of a cycle? What i found strange was the reef on both the cards, the man in the 6th of wands is carrying the same reef that appears in the world card.

-To what ends, what will be the outcome?
the Moon Queen of pentacles

The result resonates with me because I have been having some psychic awakenings lately and I have been told by spiritualists and other psychics that i am psychic myself. The queen of wands i take to be me because i look like her and i have a lot of earth in my chart.

Anytime i do a reading i read the card that comes on the bottom of the pile-this card was the lovers

Any comments welcome, tell me to shup up if im talking (typing) too much

Thanks!!

If you can't turn your intellect off, you're certainly in the presence of the King of Swords. Our K/S is a cool gentleman, fair and logical; Mr. Spock, if you will ;)

I don't, by the by, think he's a real person per-se. I think he's a power, if you will, that's trying to use you as a conduit for his message--actually, more then a conduit, he wants you for his earthly partner. What he wants done can't happen without you. If he does turn out to be real, well, you may miss him. He's not going to catch your eye. He'll be some guy, too thin, too tall and too quiet. He'll be surrounded by books and papers and a laptop computer; you won't give him a second glance...until he opens his mouth and you realize you're in the presence of a genius. He won't woo you with poetry or warm affection, nor with passion. In fact, he's going to seem a little cold and distant, lost in his head--If he's going to win you, it'll be with his ideas. His mind will make your mind come alive.

These sound positive. He represents things moving forward, moving fast (8/Wands) and a change in fortune for the better. He respresents your mind absorbing a lot (Wheel of Fortune = jupiter, expansive) at a very fast rate. Your intellect at it's best, your powers of observation and thinking at their zenith.

Quote:
-What do you want me to know/what are you trying to tell me
The world & 6 of wands

He's wants you to know that he can make you a master, help you see and explore, gain so much knowledge that anywhere you go will be home, and anyone you meet will ask for your wisdom (The World). He wants you to know that he can help you win, achieve your goals, be a leader (6/Wands).

Quote:
-To what ends, what will be the outcome?
the Moon Queen of pentacles

This is odd because you mention after it:

Quote:

Why do you mention the Queen of Wands when you pulled the Queen of Pentacles? I've no doubt, by the by, that you are psychic--but our King of Swords doesn't want you to be either the dreamy Queen of Cups, staring into her crystal ball and speaking of beauty and emotions, nor does he want you to be the crusading Queen of Wands, taking her visions to the masses and leading them on crusades--or turning those visions into some grand art form. What he wants from you is very interesting. He wants you to be the Queen of Pentacles, to bring them down to earth. He wants you to make what you see real...and profitable.

In a way, the King of Swords is asking you to compliment him. He's all mind--he needs someone who's Earth to ground him and his ideas. Think of him as an inventor in the back room. He's going to hand you blueprints of his inventions. It's up to you to direct people on which materials to buy and how to construct the thing so it actually works in reality, not just in his mind. Put it another way: Washington Robling was the brilliant engineer who constructed the Brooklyn Bridge. But he got very sick along the way and was confined to his bed. To pass on his instructions to the foremen at the construction site, he taught his wife, Emily, all about bridge building--all the math, science, etc. She relayed his instructions from then on...and she, herself, thus helped to build that bridge and make it real. I think our K/S wants you to be his Emily Robling.

If you do this, the King promises you that your life will become exciting and expansive. You'll gain the wisdom of the world, the acolades of the people. And underlying all this? Why, the Lovers of course. In the end, it's your choice. What is your heart's desire? What do you want to be? What do you want to do? The King of Swords keeps appearing, asking, proposing, if you will. He's going to keep appearing until you reject or accept his offer.

Wow Thirteen I love your answer for the King of Swords...

" What he wants from you is very interesting. He wants you to be the Queen of Pentacles, to bring them down to earth. He wants you to make what you see real...and profitable. "

I'm an Air sing (Aquarious) and I'm always in the clouds, I'm more intellect than feelings and the way you described the K/S hit me, I felt like you were describing me LOL....

Thirteen

Where do i start!! Thank you so much for your reply, its so lovely!! Im attracted to Mr.Spock/Data types, love the logic (air) coz i have too much water and earth and my venus an air sign.

I dont know why i mentioned the queen of wands, i actually meant that the moon combined with the queen of pentacles resonates with me because im both intuative and very down to earth and i look like the queen of pentacles.

During my mediataions ive felt that a vast amount of energy has been downloaded into my crown chakra, lots of vibrations and colours, this could be him, the energy or it could be from him, fuel for insperation?

"What is your heart's desire? What do you want to be? What do you want to do? The King of Swords keeps appearing, asking, proposing, if you will. He's going to keep appearing until you reject or accept his offer."

His offer will be wholeheartedly accepeted!!

Thanks

Thirteen's description certainly sounds alluring!
And if he looks anything like the Morgan Greer King, he might not be so unremarkable after all. ;) (though like as not, he won't notice his own looks, whatever they are).

The Swords court cards have such a bad reputation. As a Knight of Swords (and a coming King of Swords as time comes by), I find that sad to see we have such a bad rep. Thank you Thirteen to say such nice things about us, the aerial people. ;)

Heh. Well, I suspect from your description of him as a "Gemini" (is that what the Morgan Greer deck says the King of Swords is?)--and from the Lovers card (Gemini is you're going by Rider-Waite assignments)--that what he wants from you has to do with communication.

If you'd gotten the Star (Aquarius) that would probably be science/invention, and if you'd gotten Justice (Libra) that'd be law and argumentation. Gemini, however, is all about absorbing information. This goes as well with the World Card, the card of teachers.

Anything like that sound right to you? Being a teacher, journalist, researcher, detective?

Glad to do right by you, Alex and other Aerials :D You guys never get the credit you deserve...I think every other sign is just jealous of how smart you all are.

This may simply be senseless ramblings - but the King of Swords usually comes up in my readings- for a long time I couldn't figure out why. Then one day something clicked and I realized it (must) represent my husband , who is a deputy.

Any Officers around you ?
