I thought I would share this with you after reading another thread in which some one asked in the Hanson-Roberts study group about what you use the To All You Believers card for, In the book Time Tarot by Alarnah Tobin Gray & Lyle Wentworth she describes the Semi-major cards, knowledge that was passed down to her by her Grandfather that uses these type of cards I have never heard of Semi-major cards before this. Apparently you can buy their deck Time Tarot but I have never seen this deck either they have assigned dates to all the minor acarna cards after years of people asking when will what happen, and they can be quiet accurate too, but, if you are not meant to know the timing of an event they can be quiet vague! Once you have assigned the following cards their semi meanings they no longer mean what they usually do in a reading and the date on the cards are to be ignored. If one of these semi cards appear in a spread, it becomes the most powerful card of the whole reading. So if you have a blank card in your deck or the above To all you believers card it becomes the Power card, 3 Cups the Gypsy card, 7 Cups Meditation card, 2 Cups Infinity card, 8 Cups the Amethyst Rose card. Here are the meanings of the cards; Power- Re-alignment of attitudes. This card is telling you that you need to take control from within. Life encompasses many compartments and the tree with it's many branches, represents your life. How you percieve and react to events and affairs around you are what makes, or takes from, the quality of your life. Arrange the various areas of your life so there is always some positive energy surrounding you. You need to hold a positive attitude regardless of outside influences. This is your Power. It is not the things that happen to us that matter; it is how we react to what has happened. Your reaction is the reality of the situation. Quality of life is created from within oneself, not by events or issues. Simiarly, we create our own destiny, as our perspective on the world affects the decisions we make and the paths we choose in life. Many people travel similar paths in life. Some people focus on what they have and live a full and relatively contented life, while others on a similar path focus on what they do not have and have a discontented, bitter life. The choice is yours, this is your Power.
The Gypsy-The Prophet. Upright- Yes! This card is that simple. It tells you, regardless of wether the odds are with you or against you, to go all out to reach your goals (as you will). Put in that extra effort. Even if the cards around the Gypsy seem negative, they will only be pointing out the challenges and pitfalls that you need to look out for along the way. You will succeed, as the outcome is a definite " Yes "!
Reversed- No! This card reversed indicates you should change your course, try another way to reach your goal, or put it all down to experience. It is time to decide that this goal is not the right one for you (at present) and to concentrate on another more suitable goal. Should the cards surrounding this card appear positive, they are confirming only what you would like to happen-the illusion or dream-not the outcome. The reality of the situation is that the outcome will be a definite ' No '.
Meditation-Relaxation brings peace and wellbeing. When you draw this card the advice is to step back from your concerns. Withdraw either mentally, as in meditation, or physically, by going for an enjoyable trip to a park river, beach, movie or read abook ect. Rest your mind and emotions, then you will be able to react, oversee or understand with more clarity and thereby improve your situation. This card has the same meaning reversed but the advice when it is reversed is that the time for meditation is now!
Infinity-The reassurance of infinity. Upright- When this card is shown with positive cards beside it,or, especially if positive cards follow it, this is fortunate indeed! Depending on the question asked, here are some examples on how to read this card in relation to different issues in your life. Love- Twin-flame soul mates. Two people whose love for each other makes them become one energy. Yin & Yang, male & female complete. Love for each other for your lifetime and beyond. Work- A soul mate provides assistance to advance your prospects with regard to work issues, promotions or challanges. A Karmic debt is repaid with goodwill. Values- Give and so you shall receive. Money- Karmic Law-repaying and repayment in kind. Assistance, energy and courage supplied to you from the cosmos. This may come in the form of an introduction into a field that allows you to increase your income, or receive an unexpected windfall. This card assures you of one thing, that is, regarding money you will survive, and most likely you will prosper. Challenges-This applies to any challange you may be passing through. You will always be given the strength and knowledge to find the solutions. Reversed- The negative side of this card is shown if unfavourable cards are either side of it or follow after it. This indicates that it's time to call it quits, as situations will not improve. You would be deluding yourself if you were to believe in the positive aspects of this card, as this will only be wishful thinking on your part and not a true image of the outcome.
The Amethyst Rose-You never walk alone. This beautiful card promises the highest form of contentment, tranquillity, inner peace, love of self and life. The Amethyst has a long association with religion; it has been claimed to be the gem that forms part of the Holy Grail. The Amethyst cleanses and spirtually purifies. It is the spirtual heart that intertwines with the physical heart. If you draw this wonderful card, buy yourself some form of Amethyst, either in a natural uncut form or a lovingly cut gem, or even a piece of Amethyst jewellery. Your energy will be then be cleansed and spiritual awakening or enhancement can take place. This gem has healing qualities, giving your immune system a boost as well as improving your physical and mental wellbeing. You are most fortunate to have drawn this card. Should you be concerned about a particular issue or event and this card is in the spread, regardless of the other cards surrounding it, this card promises the outcome will be joyful. This is the card of the Gods and Goddesses. They are sending great love & protection to you. This card has the same meaning wether it is upright or reversed; there are no negative attributes. However, when reversed, it means act now as the need is more urgent because you may be delaying a joyful outcome by not working through current issues or because you are dwelling on past events.
Well that all folks! I hope this adds another dimension to your readings! Blessed Be

What a fascinating post. I have never heard of "Time Tarot", nor the book, "Time Tarot", nor the "To All You Believers Card". What is the "To All You Believers Card" -- is it a separate card in the Robin Wood deck? or is it like the idea of these "Semi Majors" - a normal card, to which an extraordinary meaning is assigned?
Have you tried out these methods? What sort of results have you gotten?

The To All You Believers card is just a introductory card in the Hanson-Roberts Deck, you don't actually use it in the readings but as this deck has no blank card as you are supposed to use in relation to the Time Tarot way, I use this card. Alarnah Tobin-Gray lives in Tasmania and is a well known Psychic and works for The Psychic Club Australia and is one of the top 5 readers. I have never seen her deck of cards however, after looking at the back page of her book she has a PO Box address and the co-author Lyle Wentworth has an email address so I think I will email to see if I can buy the cards. It has been a long time scince I have tried a reading using these cards in this way, but I do remember them being quiet informative when I did, infact I have a burning question at the moment so later on today I will try it out and post the results later on.

Okay I did a reading using the semi major arcana,, I was asking about when my house will sell and how soon will it be until I moved, I used the double celtic cross spread for this The Power card turned up in the 6th position with the star rev my husband admitted he was having second thoughts on selling up as we do have a lovely house but no work prospects or nice people around! So those two cards make sense to me now, in position 7 I got the Gypsy & 8 wands a resounding yes to go for it we will reach our goals. I got the Infinity card rev for position 11 with Jugement for 10 as this card came up reversed the negative side only shows up if negative cards are beside it, I dont see Judgement as negative only that the situation will not improve by staying/living here so we making the right decision to move. Please see my above post for the meanings of these cards. cheers!
