I used to love the Moon and be unsettled by the Sun. Now The Sun is so welcoming, and the Moon frightens me.
I used to understand the compassion of the Empress, and be scared by the authority of the Emperor. Now I welcome the Emperor as a companion, and the Empress seems too light and carefree to help me with my problems.
I used to understand the Lovers and fear the Devil. Now, I see the Devil has a lot to teach me and am utterly confused by The Lovers.
Does this happen to anyone else? Waxing and waning between cards that have an opposing force in the deck?

Perhaps as your life changes so do your connections to certain cards? I connect with cards today that were absolute meaningless to me two years ago, just as the cards that I used to identify myself with no longer fit into my life.
I think it is a sign that you lead a very dynamic and healthy life, that your growth as a person is bringing you to new understandings and possibilities.

I used to not like the moon very much, and i found the lovers easy to understand, not that i use them in context more, the moon seems welcoming because it is a dream state where anything could happen, while the lovers seem ambiguous as to whether it is satisfactory or just...there.
The high priestess used to be ''wtf?'' and the devil "oh no". Now the HP is ''just dont think and listen" while the devil is "calm yourself and take control".
