I tried searching for how people 'program' their cards (combinations) but i dont have a specific thread. If there is a previous thread talking about this, pls post it! Otherwise, what combinations have you made to mean a specific incident? I thought this would be a way to unify small parts in threads that allude to this as a whole.
(Note: I know some will have a pet peave of 'programing' their deck, but i like the structure technique, so no ethic discussions please :))

I also find this a very interesting subject. How a certain combination can mean a fixed idea such as health concerns.
I wonder if, when the deck is finely attuned to the reader, they come up according to how the reader understands them and no one else. Do you understand what I mean? The reader intuitively knows what their cards are trying to tell them - like a secret code. It's an interesting avenue to explore:)

Caridwen: yes i understand i and would love to be able to do such, but i have never really picked up on that. I understand how combinations can be personally acquired, but i think if we shared our combo's, then we could also be able to form our individual combo's from the ideas from others. Here are some i found in a search, i hope it works:

I totally agree - it's fascinating to see what people have picked up on and what they've seen time and again for certain card combinations. I didn't mean we shouldn't do it - it would be interesting to look at.
I was just saying that I've thought about this a lot. Say for example, a person aquires a Tarot deck and doesn't realise there are certain traditional meanings for the cards and they just give their own meanings without studying Tarot and their meanings are significant and have deep insight for that particular reader and their querents. Do you see what I mean? How the deck attunes itself as though it 'knows' how the reader will interpret them and comes up accordingly to get the message across. Maybe this is for another thread...lol

I think it has the same principle as my question: personalization of the cards, whether interpretation of single cards or combinations of cards, for a specific individual. Exactly what i meant!
